Denne video viser hvordan du skifter farve i dominostrik. Dominoteknikken består af mindre felter, som strikkes sammen undervejs. Hvert felt begynder med et antal masker, og der tages ind på midten, til der kun er en maske tilbage. Feltet danner et kvadrat med en diagonal linje.
Der strikkes ret på alle pinde, men første maske tages vrang løs af med garnet foran arbejdet på alle pinde.
I videoen vises der indtagning i den gamle farve inden farveskift. Der er også vist at man kan bruge en maskemarkør på pinden til at markering af indtagningsmasken.
Sådan skifter du farve:
Der skiftes til ny farve på vrangsiden. Strik sidste pind med den gamle farve fra vrangsiden, til der er 1 maske tilbage på pinden. Sæt den nye farve til, så garnenderne fra begge farver hænger foran arbejdet (= vrangsiden), strik 1 ret med den nye farve.

This video shows how to change colors in domino knitting. The domino technique consists of smaller squares that are knitted together as you go. Each square starts with a set number of stitches, and decreases are made in the middle until only one stitch remains. The square forms a diagonal line.
All rows are knitted, but the first stitch of every row is slipped purlwise with the yarn in front of the work.
The video demonstrates a decrease in the old color before the color change. It also shows that you can use a stitch marker on the needle to mark the decrease stitch.
How to change colors: Change to the new color on the wrong side. Knit the last row with the old color from the wrong side until there is 1 stitch left on the needle. Attach the new color, making sure the yarn tails from both colors are hanging in front of the work (i.e., on the wrong side), then knit 1 stitch with the new color.
