Your spot on. Jordan was basically the master at taking high percentage shots. His fade was equal to a big mans baby jump hooks or up and unders. The fade was unstopable and Jordan proved that time and time again going away from double teams or simply shooting over them. The high percentage shots help you with big scoreing averages in which he has the highest ever for career.
I remember around this time there was talk about who was the best SG in the league. Jordan or Drexler. Of course we all know it was MJ and this was a great battle. Great post. Jordan Shrug is Priceless.
I'm loving it Bruce, hope to see part 2 soon! Great work
wow watching your videos its like time travelling.. love it !!
MJ sure redeemed himself after that 3pt contest he joined a while back
Jordan was known for having an accurate shot anywhere he took a shot on the floor. Jordan was also known for trying to get free and take as many high percentage shots as possible because that helped lead his teams to more wins. No matter how good of a shooter you are the 3 point shot is a lower percentage shot so Jordan showed his IQ by trying to work the mid-range to long range 2 point jumpers this way he didn't waste any team posessions.
this was a real good highlight reel, I liked Drexler too so it was funny watching air j punish them.
Damn Danny Ange got his fare dose of Michael here with the blazers and then the following year with the suns in the finals.
AWESOME
Is there a better all around player than M.J. to (try and) copy, as a guard? He's the total package.
8:26. One of the clearest examples of hand checking, the main difference between the league now and then. Today, that's a foul.
i would agree with you he's an amazing shooter he worked hard to get to where he is now in shooting, but i don't think MJ was known for a 3pt shooter unlike Reggie
