hey serena, i'm currently going through a storm and i haven't been giving him my time i have all week to but i spend everyday every second doing other things then bow my head and pray and read his words. i've been going to church for weeks and when i started this walk with christ at first i was always in my bible everyday non stop but these past few days i feel unmotivated to read, and sometimes i feel the holy spirit telling read, open your biible but i just don't. iwas the type to help people when they ask me about god i would help them the best way i can, but when it comes to me doing it for myself idk i feel worn out for some reason you might not see this comment anyways but i hope god continue to bless you serena and i didn't mean to trama dump but god bless ❤✝
Hey Azari! Thank u so much for reaching out! I should make a podcast on this because what you are feeling is so common. I feel it too! That "high" that you feel fades as it becomes more "normal." Now the question is even if you don't "feel" Him, "see" Him "hear" Him, what are you gonna do? Because He is there. And He knows how you feel. He is seeing how committed you are even if you are not "feeling" something from it. There is nothing wrong with feeling this way. We go through highs and lows as we are emotional beings. I know it may feel like you are in a low, but the truth is, that high will come again. Now, typically this feeling also kinda means, believe it or not, that the Holy Spirit has noticed you're growing comfortable with where you are at, church, reading the word, ect. And sometimes the Holy Spirit will allow you to feel this way in order to get you to go to Him MORE. Push you to grow even further toward Him, it happens because God actually wants you to continue to grow towards Him and not be stagnant. And it also sounds like you are doing it all on YOUR strength. Hence why you feel drained. Tell Him how you feel, tell Him how you WANT to feel and ask Him to help guide you in the ways you need to go in order to feel that high again. Also, check out Luke 11:13!
