I remember watching your videos like over 10 years ago and it inspired me to make a bane mask out of cardboard, tape, and glue when I was in like 2nd grade. It wasn’t that good and I think I ended up throwing it away, but I saw a tiktok of a guy making Spider-Man masks and it reminded me of your channel. So I came back. This video is pretty old at (2 years), but that’s recent from the last time I remember watching your stuff. Thank you for documenting all of your costumes, your vids are really cool.
Hey Alex. I missed you so much. When I was a kid, I used to watch your videos and try to re-create the costumes you created. You unlocked a certain passion in me back in the day, and I realized that 3D art and sculpting was what I wanted to do. It's been many many years since then, and my pursuit of art hasn't diminished one bit. On the contrary, I have been working on digital medium and improving my artistic skills for some time now. My initial goal was to become a costume designer for movie studios, but I ended up liking video games more. So I chose that field, and became a 3D character artist. I sculpt creatures and humanoid characters, and optimize them for video games. I just wanted to thank you for inspiring me to become the person that I am today. It's good to know that you're still out there and alive.
Unreal! I literally just binged a bunch of your videos a few weeks ago. I used to watch you all the time as a kid and was wondering what you were up to. Good to have you back!
this is late, but man this is one of the channels that fueled my creative/problem solving side. it's channels like this one, indy mogul, and mythbusters that got me into both engineering and story writing. these two things, along with music nowadays, have basically shaped my entire life and i owe it all to you guys. the ones who made me dream about things i never would have dreamed about. you helped shaped me, and i cant thank you enough for that.
Alex, you were part of my childhood growing up! I remember watching hours of diy alien and predator costume videos and I even tried following yours when I was like 8 or 9. It never quite worked out but I must've watched your videos dozens of times. I'm turning 19 soon and seeing your videos is so nostalgic, seems like just yesterday but also like so long ago. Anyway, I wanted to thank you for all the videos you put out through out the years. They're awesome! I hope you have a wonderful day and take care!
Dude, thanks for the shoutout. It's great to see that your passion and creativity for movies still lives on in the other mediums you choose to create with. Foodie Findings has been cool to watch. Keep up the great work, my friend.
I am and forever will be amazed by your talent (both as an artist and as a cook-- I yearn for those pancake cupcakes and pizza meatloaf!) Your creativity is astounding!
Press F for respect Dude, I found my sculpture-passion because of you since I was a kid! You taught me so many things! Thank you! And I glad you alright!
Man you were a considerable influence on me when I was younger and getting into making things. Thanks a lot for your old videos. It's great to see you're doing well and still making things.
It's been 84 years.... I never thought I'd be watching you come back, I adore your Batman video- I really hope this video isn't the only one we'll see from you, I'd love to binge all your new projects to help inspire me do what you do
It great to see you give an update! I just got done watching the how to make a Batman cowl. When I was 10 I remember wanting to replicate what you did. But the farthest I got was making the mold of my head. Love the channel man! Glad to see your still doing thing! Keep up the creativity!
Bro I first saw your Batman mask video when I was 7 I’m 16 now and I have been waiting to see your videos again , I love your content and I hope to see what you do in the future
I Remember making my own Christian bale Batman suit watching his videos in the 7th grade. I won second place in my schools Halloween costume contest that year, thank you for being a part of my childhood. I’m glad to see your creativity lives on
Yes you’re back!!!! Good to see you’re well I am one of the many people you’ve inspired to make costumes and I am grateful glad to know you’re alive I also have one question will you be watching any new Godzilla movies like Godzilla vs Kong if so that’s great I’m happy to see you again and I will watch you until I die thank You for your amazing work that inspired me
Hey Alex good too see you 😊 Glad to see you well and I'm happy for your success in other ventures. I'll definitely check out your other vids. Stay safe
I remembered how he made the predator mask and searched the video. That is what led me here. The update was encouraging. It's good you still have a passion for creating. Nice to see him happy and doing well all these years later. I used to make costumes. I still enjoy the process of problem-solving and crafting. It's just an expensive hobby, and the costumes take up a lot of space. I can only use them a couple of times before trashing them. So I understand falling away from the hobby and films.
I'll always be thankful for teaching me (with The Dark Knight Rises Batman and Bane costumes video) how to become something I thought it was impossible. I'm glad you're ok and happy, that's the most important thing to me. Hope I could meet you someday! Good luck!!!
How is your friend doing? (who played Bane in you TDKR trailer) ... I remember you said he was going through chemotherapy and so he would play that part. Hope he’s doing well 🙂
I will admit it, I thought you died. I'm glad you are doing well Alex. I remember watching your tutorials on making costumes during my first year in college. I used to enjoy them too. About star wars film series, The Karate Kid has a better saga. If you get a chance, watch a show call Cobra Kai on Netflix
I never thought I’d see his return
