To me, this is the greatest song I’ve ever heard. What a gift. Thank you for sharing this so that my heart can swell in its beauty and grace once more.
I just re -found this and played and cried. Yes, hold me Jesus, with your wounded hands . And hold my dear friend J. who is suffering so much with a child who has never been able to bond or show her love. I have this CD and treasure it. Thank you Michael . You were a treasured faithful friend to Doug Brown!!
I found the words of this song I had writen down years ago. I didn't remember the song but loved the words! I was so glad to find this! It's so amazing and deserves many more comments and likes!!!
One of the greatest CCM performers and Folk composers of our time. Why is his phenomenal music not all over Christian music radio.....where every song sounds like the one played just before it? Oops! I just answered my own question!~
Hes a phenomena, totally unheard of before. Hes a modern day storyteller, with poignant (never to b forgotten) lyrics, which really tug at ur heartstrings and help to soothe ur troubled soul. Awesome....
MKB is an absolutely amazing musician, minister and storyteller. With the depth of his stories I've often wondered if he was ever a social worker or therapist.. His music is grace.
I discovered Michael back in the 80's and have loved him since!! His songs are so powerful in the stories he tells. Wish The Trouble With Me was on here...
So deep, so rich.... in thought, music, and voice. The Christian community would be that much fuller and blessed if MKB's music would catch on and be heard on the radio. However, his songs are, in general, just not the kind that will ever be a hit on commercial radio. To much thinking and introspection required.
Because Christians in America for the most part want their spiritual baby food and don't want the growing pains. That is why he has not become popular.
Incredible lyrics. In his regular self-deprecating manner, he described himself at a concert I attended as having one hit (referring to Be Ye Glad). I'm sorry but Danny's Downs was covered by Peter, Paul, and Mary. I'd call that a home run.

No one but God gives these words of truth to & through Michael Blanchard. No words wound, convict, & heal me more . Bless you, MKB. I miss you.

“Mercy in the maze” is an undeserved MKB “concert” after so many years. Mercy. In the maze.

yes, that song stands head and shoulders above anything I've ever heard
Oh! Jesus!

"To much thinking and introspection required."
Not required by the listener, you just have to let it wash it over you..

This is one reason Gloria Gaither referred to Mike as the Poet Laureate of Christian music.
