Be Ye Glad (Michael Kelly Blanchard; Love Lives On LP)

I am including this on my channel for a simple reason: this is the original and arguably the best version of this song, sung by composer Michael Kelly Blanchard, with Noel Paul Stookey. It was only released on the vinyl LP (1980) and I have never found a digital copy of it. This is recorded from the LP, so the sound quality is not pristine, but it is still decent.

Totally agree this is the best version of this wonderful song. That whole album was great. And boy does it suit the times we are living in now. The heart and the soul of a nation lay wounded and cold as a corpse.

He came to Southwestern College and spoke to music majors and the choir got to sing this song with him at his concert.
