  • The Dewalt DCC018N has a range of features that set it apart from the rest.
    This tyre/tire inflator which is called a DCC0201B in the USA is great I felt I had to do a review to give an overview of how awesome it is. The only gripes I had was the mains electrical power lead does not come in the pack and has to be purchased separately, the hose could be longer too. There is a trick to change it from Bar to PSi on the digital readout this video shows you how. #dewalt #review #tireinflator #tool

    Thank you for making this video. I had a few questions and went to the paper work that came with it. It was rolled up so tight I couldn't get it to lay flat. The print is so tiny I couldn't read read to find what I was looking for. So I came here and found everything I needed.

    Thanks for taking the time to make this video, it has answered all my questions and it is a great advantage to seeing someone explain and use the machine in person. Thanks again.

    Thank you for this review, I'm thinking of buying it, a bit expensive, but obviously very durable and quick, like you say a bit stingey for not supplying the power lead. One thing I like though is the connector which screws on, cos I hate the clip on type which end up letting more air out than in.

      I consider it expensive but it is a quality item

      Just got it today, and worked like a charm. Very solid, It's good that it tells you the current pressure first, great also just letting it do it's stuff and then it stops, brilliant, puts my previous little put-put in the shadows, also with less noise.

    Good video - thank you . Ive got lots of Dewalt batteries , from 5ah upwards . Would a single 5ah battery inflate 4 tyres flat tyres to 32PSI ?

    I am purchasing one of these thanks for the review. I do agree about the lead. Any idea where you can purchase the 230v lead? Surely it would charge the battery? Work without a battery and possibly better performance.

      @doctorlefthandthread  Рік тому +1

      It wouldn't charge the battery they do have that feature on some radios but not alI. I can't find anywhere selling the lead. The performance of the unit I can't fault with the battery to be honest.

    It seems extremely loud to me. Is it? Or does your microphone just happen to be very sensitive?
    Also, if the target pressure is lower than the current pressure in the tyre, will it automatically deflate the tyre? Or do you have to let some air out first, until the pressure drops a bit below the target, and then use the inflator?

    • @doctorlefthandthread
      @doctorlefthandthread  8 місяців тому +1

      It's loud the inflator will only inflate to the target pressure

    its £155 over in ards today and ive watched reviews a while back but am liking the auto stop and triple power. amazon has it for £120 which will be my route. how has it been for you? i was looking at the makita 180 and 181 but am turned off by the 1 power and no auto stop.

      @doctorlefthandthread ordered it from screwfix for 130. Extra tenner so I don't get a tin of beans in the box from amazon which apparently happens

    I don't think they should have supplied the mains adapter. It's unlikely you would use it at home.
