*Great air pump **MyBest.Tools** Faster than my old plug in pump and twice as handy without having to drag the cord around. And it works with my existing Ryobi drills battery.*
Would have been great if you could have mentioned the capacity of the blower. Can it blow at it's rated maximum pressure? I would find that useful for blowing and dusting off my other dewalt tools etc
where is the ac connection or do you need to purchase a separate ac to dc adaptor so when you are in the house the dc car plug can go into the adaptor and the adaptor plug into the home 120 v? It advertises THREE power sources but I only see the battery and the DC cigarette lighter adaptor
I bought the DeWALT DCC0201I inflator to keep our cars tires inflated at the right pressure. I check the tires once at least once a month. It would be nice if it released air for when the temperatures fall in fall and winter rather than having to release air manually. The auto shutoff is a great feature to have in the southeast US when it can get blazing hot. No longer do I have to use the cheap DC powered chargers and check manually with a tire pressure gauge; overfill and have to let air out and guess too low and have to fill up. I love this so much that I bought a second one when it was on sale for $10 off. Now each car has its own.
Can I insert the Dewalt cigarette lighter plug into a Stanley (or another brand) car battery jump box receptacle for a cigarette lighter power source? I then would not need to have a long cord from inside the car to each of the tires as I can just pick up the battery jump box as a portable power source. (And yes the air compressors on two of my jump boxes have burned out from over use.)
I usually use the Ryobi for my bike tires, bought the bigger Ryobi for my cars however, the auto button does not work...but after your video I'm gonna get the Dewalt upon my exchange of the Ryobi
It’s all about the batteries. I have a set of DeWalt tools that use one battery dock, one charger. I need to know if my batteries will run this. No way will I buy batteries and charger just for this.
I just used mine today at the local c-store, a pregnant woman needed air and the coin operated air/water at the station didn't work, she was stranded..... it worked flawlessly and got her home
I've gone through 3 or 4 cheap tire inflators in a short amount of time. Might as well dish out the 100$ and buy a DeWalt, it seems like it should last much longer. I mean just looking at the size of that tool damn, I thought it was like 50% smaller than it actually is. That tells me it's probably a really robust tool.
Depends on the bike tire. Bike tires can run from anywhere between 20 psi for tubeless mountain bike tires all the way up to 120psi or so for road bike tubed tires.

This was very helpful, thank you! I bought this Dewalt inflator in 2020 and today just had to use it for the first time. Your video made it so easy!
You show more detail than many others I've viewed ,. thank you.

HOW MUCH BATTERY LEFT AFTER THE USE TO INFLATED MANY TYRES?
To get a bike tyre to explode you would need a massive pressure. 40psi in that tyre would be fine if that is spec’d on the tyre.
DeWalt makes a solid tool. And they stand behind it.
they sure do. this one is great.
What a great review for the Dewalt. Yes Ryobi has a more comparable model, but does not look as rugged as the Dewalt.

Unfortunately it is a separate purchase. Honestly though, don’t let that bug you too much. It really is an awesome unit. Built like a tank.

this has been a great tool!
Have you tried the deflate feature for pool toys, air mattresses, etc?
Best review I’ve read.
Will the cigarette lighter charge the battery for future usage ?
Со временем он перестаёт работать с аккумулятором.Многие пользователи столкнулись с этим.Эта проблема решена?
Thank you! Was not sure what size battery to purchase. Wanted it to sit flush. Perfect!
4amp!
Great review 👏

If you look on just about any sports ball, somewhere near the inflating valve is a statement 'Inflate to ____' with the recommended pounds of air.
Tom Brady disagrees with those recommendations
Would have been nice to know if it could fill a tire and how long it would take
no clue. don't have a nonfilled tire to test.
@@MyersWoodshop pretty easy to let the air out and then do the test.
great video. will my existing 18v Dewalt drill battery work? DW9099.
nope - 20V
It looks like I will be adding DeWalt to my Milwaukee line up. Thanks for the review.
You bet
Could you provide the link for the AC adapter that goes with this unit? I can't find it for the life of me
The AC Power Supply is part # N557514. Just Google the part number and it will come up. That is how I got mine. Warning....it is expensive $$$!!!
@@cheriebirch3332 ty just bought it!
Hello, is the AC link still available?
Debating whether to get this or the Dewalt DXAEJ14 Portable Jump Starter and Air Compressor
This one is a beast. Absolutely love it.
I usually use the Ryobi for my bike tires, bought the bigger Ryobi for my cars however, the auto button does not work...but after your video I'm gonna get the Dewalt upon my exchange of the Ryobi
i did exactly the same!
is makita battery compitable with dewalt ?
No
nice review!
One question can you blow with tire pump? Like pc or something or tools? Or it has like a pin inside and needs to be attached so it can blow?
Is there a recommended time limit on battery use for a given inflation task?
I believe it's 10 min. Then you have to rest the battery for 20 min before you can use it again
@@brandongregg4287 I read the 10 minute limit only applies to when you are inflating some over 100 psi.
I wonder if you can add a manual purge at the tire side of the inflator to bring the PSI down to spec?
Can you charge battery when unit is plugged into AC outlet?
No

All 20v or 12vmax batteries work for this unit. If you’re talking nicad 18v batteries (xrp 18v batteries) then yeah, you’re shit outta luck lol
I'm debating on this and the m12
i like this one better.
Dewalt can be used also with cig lighter adapter, that’s why I got the Dewalt. The m12 can’t.
Buy the craftsman. Comes with 110v plug
that's a nice addition.
I just used mine today at the local c-store, a pregnant woman needed air and the coin operated air/water at the station didn't work, she was stranded..... it worked flawlessly and got her home
nice. it's a great little unit!
You were very nice to offer your assistance! Thanks.
Will it microwave my lunch pizza , a small pizza not like a deep dish ?
Road bike tires are 100+ - put the 40 psi in
Correction Model: DCC020i not L
The 'i' stands for inflator !

same, this is the BEST one i've ever used and will not be looking for another agian.
No deflator function!
I just stick it in a until the air starts coming out if I need to deflate my tires.
Who inflates baseballs?
have you seen my baseball?
Bike tires take 40psi man
