I’ve owned my S3000Pro MK1’s for 3 years now and use them for music and movies. Zero problems. For that use I just put them in Dynamic. They sound much more lively and airy at the top and still have good bass. Mine are on stands. Sitting 3.5 meters away in a 40 square meter room with vaulted ceilings they read 85db at only 60% volume so way powerful enough for most duties. I might add an SVS 3000micro sub in the future to release them from driving to frequencies below 80Hz but that would only be icing on the cake. It’s not vital. They already sound good enough. I’m European, but live in Asia. In EU the price is around 600-700 Euros? Over here the price is just RIDICULOUS at 380 EUROS a pair!!!! The only annoying thing with the MK1 is that you can’t tell what volume they are at easily when using the remote control as they don’t have a visual display showing the volume level from 1 to 50? You have to turn them down to zero using the remote, then count the blinks on the front LED as you slowly increase volume. I think the MK2 uses an app to control EQ/DSP/volume, so a big improvement in functionality over the MK1. If they had a sub out and bass management in the app you might as well forget about KEF LS50II’s. They are 4-500% more expensive without the expensive KEF stands! Edifier might rule the world if they did the decent thing and brought out a MK3 with those added features! If I wanted an amazing system today in 2024 for music and 2.1 movies that will blow anything out of the water worth 3000 + Euros I’d go for the S3000PRO MK2’s and also the brand new WIIM Ultra wireless DAC. It has sub out with bass management AND ROOM CORRECTION! Amazing functionality with their app and constant improvements with regular updates. All that for 350 Euros!!!! Add an SVS 1000Pro sub and you have a whole wireless system for around 1600 Euros. You just won’t find better until you start spending multiple thousands. Highly recommend.👍
You have a nice passive setup in the back there mate, how does it compare? Supposedly these s3000 pro's with the modern dsp stuff sounds pretty amazing? Of course your passive system cost heaps more, and its hard to overlook the price you paid when something cheaper comes along and re-writes the game. Whats your honest thoughts sound wise? Would be much appreciated. Im about to drop the cash for the s3000pro's. The mk2 version has been out a few months now but only available in chiiiina.
Aww man this is how to demo speakers properly. If it sounds this good coming through a UA-cam video, can't imagine what it sounds like in person. I don't know if the mic is helping out but it sounds so spacious. Beautiful setup, sonically & aesthetically! (Wicked tune btw) Good job and well done 👍
👍 Cheers Man I've spent the last 5 months getting my head round the mics settings & right spacing & height etc think I finally cracked it yesterday...well pleased with the result 😁 Yeah it sounds even better when your sat in front of it!!! Had the Edifiers 3yrs this month. I use them everyday & they never fail to blow me away! They are that good... 😎
@@NicksRefuge yeah I hear you, that's a lovely feeling when it all comes together! You must be buzzing. How do you know when you got it right, when you keep saying to yourself "aw go on, just one more track" and before you know it another 2 hours have gone by 😄
Hi I couldn't honestly say as I've never had the pleasure to listen to the Gold 8. In a Studio I'm sure they would be better than the Edifiers. I think the Edifiers are a more versatile speaker which can be used in multiple settings. 😎
hi I have a question people...first these S3000Pro's are on sale for 850 ( canadian ) 630 ( USD ) so a nice price....i currently have a Bose 600 soundbar and a 500 module connected via HDMI Arc....CAN I ALSO HOOK THESE SPEAKERS VIA OPTICAL AND USE ALL OF THE SPEAKERS FOR MY TV ?...I really hope so...cheers all
Hi in theory yes if your TV allows you to dual output audio? But there's no guarantee they'd be in sync! You'd probably be better off getting the Bose surround speakers that match your soundbar & sub. Good luck 😎
Sade - I Never Thought I'd See The Day

Magical. Best of the best. Edifier s3000 is already segment best. So along with a DAC, it just shines.
But it has a very good built in DAC already ?
Прекрасная музыка

Hi they're absolutely brilliant & compete admirably with my passive systems & are a lot more versatile + cheaper to run.... Enjoy 😎
@@NicksRefuge Thanks Nick, admirable answer considering the price difference. Appreciate the honesty. I'm going to get a pair 😊

The spaciousness comes from speaker's being in Dynamic mode 😎
@@Antibackgroundnoise 👍 My missus is always asking how many more tracks🤦♀.... 🤣🤣🤣
