They are good meters, but at new prices they don't really offer good value for money for the average Amateur. If you can pick one up cheap second hand then it's a different matter. Andy
Luckily you get these second hand for a fraction of the price. I bought mine on eBay for $200 including one slug. And I bought two extra slugs for an additional $200.
@@Colin_In_VK but that’s like $$$ for half a dozen uSDXs that don’t quite work !!!! :D In all seriousness, buying someone else’s _broken dreams_ is the way to go. Moreover, we aren’t getting any younger and the estate sales often yield surprising _items of nostalgia_
Very deep pockets required!
I love bird products. I wished they made one that looked like the big Dosy. And had the peak average switch.
They are solid, serious, meters 👍🏼
Well, that’s my letter to Santa sorted!
Good gear, but I really had to do a double take on the video at first, thinking why is Graeme Norton reviewing Watt meters..😂 👍👍
Blimey, I have a collection of different Bird meters, but I didn't pay anything like those prices for them.
Good meters, as long as they are used within their limits. I have three.
BIRD is the word.
Bird is the Word.
Why do SWR meters have the input on the left whilst guitar pedals have the input on the right…..
Just an observation
Do they go into the future at 1.21 gigawattts
Bad joke
Only at 88 mph
I am sure these are great meters, I don't doubt that - but the price.
Quit complaining and get a job

Totally agree with you.
@@VTXHobbiesAre you buying one?
@@juanpabloish1 already did
Great meters, but I can't see myself ever spending that much on a meter when you could buy a decent rig for the same price.
