The 590SG has more colour shade steps to choose from on the display than the 590s, from amber into yellow and through to green, but doesn’t do red, so it’s just the camera. I understand it’s a choice of 2 colours on the 590s as opposed to 10 shades of the same colours on the 590SG, but having owned both models, it’s not such a big deal in practice.
You finally have 7200 on the shelf! I bought one new from you way back. Sold it for the same money then regretted it. First flea market stall I went to at Newark had one. Dirt cheap so had to grab it. Very good simple radio that sits nicely alongside my 7000.

I would advise someone to grab the FT 897. I have 3 and love them.
