For some perspective, "China Town" in San Francisco does have people of Chinese descent. Of course there is an element of tourist driven things. However, in terms of food, you'll find excellent Chinese food of all styles throughout the city, and much of it excellent and inexpensive. All that said, your China Town looks like it has a lovely vibe.

Thanks for the wander around Chinatown for the Moon Festival. I’ve never been there despite living only 25 miles from London! Terrible, eh? At least I know not to eat there now! 😊❤
