Been there twice. We love it there as DVC members. Can't get enough of it.

It would be great in the future if you covered accessibility of these places. We travel with my son in a wheelchair and are always researching to be prepared.

I think it's funny they said going to Diamond Head is "Going North East" to get there, and it is about the southern most location on the island. LOL

Number 1 reason to stay at Aulani: Rainbow Reef! snorkel as long as you want with 100's of beautiful Hawaiian fish. Did that every day we were there. Absolutely wonderful!

For a varied experience Norwegian cruise has a great Hawaii itinerary where you visit different islands.

So you all really like Oahu so much, but have you visited Maui and Kauai and how would you compare those islands to Oahu? I could see Disney creating another resort on Maui.

What about using ride sharing (Uber/Lyft) on the Island?

I was at Aulani a year and a half ago and became quite bored after 3 days. So, if you want things to do at all hours, stay in Waikiki or rent a car. Lastly, renting a car at the airport and paying the hefty parking fees per day is the wrong way to go. Simply rent a car each day and you'll save $ by not having to pay the parking fees. Sure, it's a bit more work but you'll sa've tons of $$$ in the long run.

Disney vacation club. It’s like time share but only for Disney (USA) properties. It doesn’t work at Disney hotels in Paris, China or Japan.

Travel has decreased this year to the US because of Trump. It’s true. I currently live in europe although I am from California. I have always had coworkers or friends tell me they want to go on vacation or honeymoon to the US and they always ask me for advice. It has been like this for the decade+ that I have been living in europe. This year I have had friends tell me they are changing their vacation or honeymoon plans because they do not want to go to the US until Trump is out of office.

I feel like you guys are never going to get an authentic Hawaiian experience if you stay at a Disney resort.. just a thought xx

I think that is why they are saying to get out away from the resort.

Jess Hollister actually if you ask Hawaiians they will tell you it's very authentic Disney Imaginaires put great effort into consulting with the natives to make sure they were putting the culture and all around native feel to the resort with a little Disney in there for Disney fans but to say it's not authentic is just not accurate

Lisa Aguirre just my opinion, I know the Aulani is amazing having been there myself but I know Hawaii has a lot more to offer then just staying in this one hotel every time you visit
