So i looked it up the normal WD-40 is conductive but ive read that the WD-40 specialist contact cleaner isnt a problem for it so right now im unsure but ill keep it in mind

Did you use the normal wd40 by any chance? You should’ve used contact cleaner
because you had to remove the batteries while doing this or your controller wont work
You have to remove the battery before doing this 5 minute life hack

Deadzone settings on the headset works perfect for me
i have like VERY bad stick drift so the deadzone settings dont do anything

To avoid doing that I recommend putting Drift Blockers on your controllers before or after you fixed your controller drift.
Don't use WD-40! It could fry your controllers!
USE QD-contact cleaner it could help!

the one that's been used is for electronics and the "normal" one is for cars, mechanics, y'know

I used a air compressor tank on what I wonna say is high and it didn't do much for me sadly.
Warning do not use normal wd40 buy the quick dry one

Important to note that normal WD-40 will break your controller, you need some sort of contact cleaner

Just try and recalibrate it in the settings first before using chemicals lol just incase it's a software issue before hardware lol

Hello everyone. I solved the drift on these controllers by basically doing the same thing that can be done to the joycon joysticks. Disassemble the joystick and you can put a 1mm plastic (or paper but plastic is better) under the joystick membranes and then close it up and install it again con controller. This will create more pressure on joycon working as a temporary lasting fix
IF YOU DONT WANT TO RISK DOING THIS THEN TAKE THE BATTERY OUT OF THE CONTROLLER AND PUT THE CONTROLLER IN THE FREEZER FOR APPROXIMATELY 3 HOURS (DO THIS AS YOUR LAST SOLUTION BECAUSE IT WAS MY LAST SOLUTION, AND I LEFT IT IN THE FREEZER AND FORGOT ABOUT IT AND SLEPT) IT WORKED FOR ME BUT I DONT KNOW IF IT’LL WORK FOR ANYONE ELSE
How does this help?
If you don’t care about accuracy of your joysticks then just adjust the dead zone
It’s that easy
Take of the black part it will be more effective
This works I do it every month or 2
I used an Air Compressor and some DeoxIT Fader F5
This works!!
Easier way is to go to your controller settings and lower the deadzone on the controller
It seems some stores don’t sell it that special WD-40
Rubbing alcohol works great as well
If you don’t have this pressing down the joystick and blowing a straw hard at different angles also works

I was playing VR-Chat My Dift lags for some reason and can let stop moving and my left drift is not going good, is their anyway to fix it.
