My dog started to pee in the house again after my mother died. He also slept in the room with her when she came home for hospice care, which is not where he usually slept. We're getting him to use pee pads and trying to get him outside more often.
My last pup would poop outside but was always peeing indoors. Then I realized she always peed right in front of the bathroom door. So I began peeing outside. By day 2 so was she. She was watching me pee in the bathroom so thought that was where she was supposed to also. Never a problem after the light bulb finally went off. Sometimes if you can think like your pup you can see the issue and correct the problem easily. Hope this might help others.
my sister's dog was spayed JUST after her first heat, but before that was perfectly potty trained, but now since the operation she'll look at the dog door, turn around and do one and two in the kitchen. She'll also whine to go outside in the middle of the night, go out, do whatever, come back in, and then potty in the kitchen. Whyyyyyy?!
That’s why they make dog houses I have seen nice beautiful insulated dog houses and they r very beautiful to no problem some peoples want their pet inside which is nothing wrong with it and nothing wrong if u prefer ur dog outside
My dog has a doggie door available 24/7. She is 8 yrs old, sees vet every 6 weeks for annal gland extraction. Get’s lots of exercise running around the acreage,Lots of attention. She pees and poo’s inside. No excuse I can figure What can I do?
I have a question: I have a male dog that was neutered about a week and a half ago. He is still working his territory in the house. How long will this continue? Or is it ever going to stop? What is the best enzyme product can I use to clean those spots? He is a sweetheart, but that’s really his only downfall.
My dog has a dog door and knows how to go out. But he chooses to pee in the house, especially when it’s raining. He will pee on anything that’s left on the floor, or even on my drapes. I am starting to really resent him! Why is he so stupid? I’ve never had a dog who doesn’t understand peeing in the house is bad. 😢
I am fostering a senior intact Pittie from the NYCACC 🍎 a kill shelter. Bronx has been peeing indoors non-stop despite us letting him out almost every hour! Had to jump thru hoops to get an appointment with the shelter vet. They prefer to “triage remotely!” 😂 if the goal of fostering is to adapt the dog to home life & routine and have them adopted out, at this rate he can only be a junkyard dog. Which to me personally is unacceptable!
Love this! Such helpful information and soo manyyy cute fur babies 😍😍😍
Thanks Robin!

Aw dogs really are so special! Sounds like a good plan, if it continues we're here for you.
Interesting thanks. Kilo pees inside as sometimes he just can wait, usually in the bathroom as we go there. Subscribed.
Puppies are so adorable.❤
All of them!

That's a great question to talk to a Vetster vet about - they will ask your sister for additional information and be able to give you expert advice :)
I have 2 chi's that do this. I will try your method.
Great! Let us know how you go and if you are still having trouble check out Vetster to talk to a vet online.

Have you spoken a veterinarian about this?

Oh no that sounds frustrating! Hopefully this video has some ideas for you!
My dog began drinking a lot and peeing inside. He had Cushing's. It was heartbreaking.
I'm so sorry :(

If my dog can't get out to pee and she pees in the house it's not her fault so it's fine
Glad she's ok!
My dog pees in the bathroom next to the toulet
Oh no! At least it's somewhere easy to clean!
My darling alfie is 16,he is peeing all over the house. I dont say a word and just clean up. Old age comes to us all.
