Well at least speech isn't too out the way with what Deacon would say. I liked it, he spoke like I knew he would. It wasn't too much grandeur and beyond the character development.
Tbh this game gives me a big walking dead vibe tbh.. i fw it heavy🔥🔥
Days gone 2 I want the opening cut scene to deacon and sarah on bikes riding the broken road then boozer comes out behind them. I also want Jack to be grown up as a dog and kick some freaker ass
How the fuck did anyone hear a single word of what he was saying?
He isn't a leader in his eyes, but his role was to unite regardless of his inability to be the leader people wish him to be. He gave up on humanity but through his pain he grew to love again. If I were to say this person would the one who deserves power as he is not the one to want it, but that was one of thee questions posed in Platos Republic.
He is a leader he proved he was
I feel like this game had problems with dialogue just seeming unnatural. I enjoyed it but this scene was an example were the sound is just all over the place. Deacon will jump between yelling, angry, whispering, and in a speech with a roaring bonfire and people yelling, he talks at a low tone that it’s a wonder people can hear him. I got the game for less than $10 and got the hours worth out of it, but if they ever made a sequel, I’d really hope they direct it a little better amongst other gripes. I don’t think the VA is even bad. I like Sam Witwer’s work, and he plays a good role, I just think it’s a direction issue.
Deacon: Scoundrel huh? I like the sound of that.

Really enjoyed this game, but Deacon's final speech to the people was very disappointing. Was hoping for this motivating Spartacus Rick Grimes type speech, but get the complete opposite. I could hardly hear him sometimes. You just took over a militia camp and wiped out two hordes prior. Where's the passion? Instead, we get this. The people are pumped, but he isn't. WTH
No offence intended, but I really can't understand how you say you can't hear him sometimes? As for a passionate speech, he's a reluctant leader now so he's not going to have the passion to lead pretty much every surviving community when he's spent the entire game basically just looking for his wife. All Deacon has cared about for the majority of the game is the ones he's closest to and riding the broken road. In my opinion it just doesn't make sense to have him suddenly make some motivational, inspiring speech that unites everyone in that one moment, just like you wouldn't see Daryl Dixon making a motivational speech instead of Rick
@@APerfectOutsiderHe sounds like he's mumbling to himself as he is speaking to the crowd. If I was in the audience, I probably would not be able to hear him. I understand that he is reluctant, but in that moment in the game. You hope he can deliver something better. He found his wife whom believed to be dead and his friend didn't die. He basically got the happy ending and yet can't muster a motivating speech for the people at least. They fought with him depending if you earned enough trust.
@@Fonzflicks I get what you mean about him mumbling at times but there really isn't that big of an audience for him to address and they clearly heard his speech. I'm not going to argue with you about this since we obviously differ on our opinions but both really like the game, so maybe the DLC will make Deacon the leader you want him to be but for me personally this speech suits his character and personality perfectly.
Yeah except you forget that Deacon is nothing like Rick Grimes. Deacon never wanted to be a leader he just wanted Sarah and Boozer and that's it. Rick was in charge of a large community/group for a long time.
@@nomadaa5984 Yes that is his character, but I'm just saying I wish his speech could have been better. It's the ending of the game. People fought with you depending if you earned their trust. The people around Deacon are looking for someone to look up to. Iron Mike is dead. He could have tried to be little more uplifting and hopeful. The moment was there to do that, but the character just didn't rise. He could have faked it just to keep morale, but we get none of that.
Oh well, it's not like his character was all that fleshed out anyways. Just my two cents on how it could have ended better.
