Wow just watched die hard the movie again. Had to come on UA-cam to relive my childhood once more. Me and my brother used to play this game religiously, so so good.
The Trilogy was so cool at the time because it offered variety. You had a TPS, a rail shooter, and a driving game -- sort of like how each of the three films offered unique experiences. I remember the third game actually feeling particularly cool in a an era before GTA III was around.
I used to play this with a lightgun. big green thing with a grenade button at the firing-pin's location and and depth-click to fire rockets. Damn, I miss those young barely-teens days....
I played this game only one time at a Hills department store as a 9 year old kid and I've NEVER forgotten the music for the second level. I was just reminded of this game and that music instantly came back to memory. Came here to check it out and it's exactly how I remembered it. How bizarre. And, furthermore, what a waste of memory 😆
I played this so much back then! Used to practice using as few shots as possible to kill the bad guys, single shots and double taps where necessary, really thought I was the business!
They completely outdid themselves here. First game is a dungeon crawler essentially, hack and slash format but with a gun and gathering various pickups. Second game is a first person shooter with amazing soundtrack, set up more like your arcade style shooters via area 51 and the like. Third game is vehicular based, similar to an open world need for speed. Way ahead of its time.
Yup I had the gun also & shot up everything that moved 😄 Especially the ceiling tiles in level one & watch them kill the people below. Very enjoyable game.
I played the Demodisc to death. The full game was...okay. It was enough fun for 16 year old me, but i always liked DH2 with it's rail shooter mechanic the best. Despite having to play with a controller (instead of a lightgun)
One of the best PS1 games ever made, Sonys backwards compatibility is pure crap. Games like this should be on the PSN store that made the PS1, the world is backwards when it comes to old stuff licenses need to be done with and we should be able to relive games like this. Before I got the full game the times I played the demo of this level to get as far I could before the timer ran out
Man I used to love playing this game! I just had to pick one up on ebay after watching this vid... Q: What's a really good gun to use for this section of the game?? I think I used the Nyko Cobra then.
00:57 + 37:12 - IIRC, shooting down that helicopter early - near the beginning - gives you a bonus of some kind doesn't it - like wielding double pistols (using the single reticle and lightgun, though)? It's been too long ago for me to remember.
games were so good then they are now there much harder now i have a x so now but i rember playing Sega genesis ND64 ps ps2 ps3 xbox xbox 360 xbox one x . i never saw levle 3 or the whole game
Hey dude, I'm gonna be doing a cover of the Dulles Airport Theme soon, was wondering if you mind me taking some footage from this play for my video? Naturally I'll link your channel once it's done! Cheers!
got damn dude how long have u been playing this? u made not one mistake wtf? have u played this on a arcade machine or something? damn now i'm showing my age too. LOL oh well.😆

Hearing that Bruce Willis has dementia reminded me of this game. I had completely forgotten about this gem, would love to play it again.
I remember playing this as a kid, Bruce Willis will always be the main man.

I was about 7 or 8 when I played it. Finished all three games on the disc. Then my dad got me the second one. Die Hard Trilogy Viva Las Vegas.
The best lightgun on rails shooter far above the others ..
One of those games I couldn't complete but was still addicted to none the less.
Wow a true rail shooter I loved this game soooo much and the music at the start was all way ahead of its time ❤
I used to play this with a lightgun. big green thing with a grenade button at the firing-pin's location and and depth-click to fire rockets. Damn, I miss those young barely-teens days....
I had the Die Hard Trilogy game. The only one I couldn't complete was the driving one. One of the best Playstation games ever
This game with the namco gun was soo dam good
I remember the demo on PS1. I seriously played it so many times. Probably still have it some where lol
I used to play this Game alot In the 90s On PS1
I just close my eyes. And feel as if my late father play this game.
Late 90's, great times with this game.

This game with the madcatz gun controller was the absolute best on PS1

I'm here for the music, 25+ years later
The music for the airport level pretty much got me into electronic music, it was that good
33 and yes, life was so much simpler 😢😂
This music from first level... Just like music from Home Alone - music of Christmas and New Year night!
I used to have a gun that would plug in and you could shoot the screen. It was absolutely awesome. I love this do much
I didn’t know there was a video game of die hard 1 or 2,I was born in ‘92.

that's correct. it gave you permanent akimbo pistols that would help you get through the campaign.
This is the arcade version of GTA.
Such a good game
Old school game
