    I had a day of compiler issues with this library. I found the following Board Manager versions worked on Mac OSX:
    Arduino ESP Boards: 2.0.13
    ESP32: 2.0.14
    On Arduino IDE: 2.3.3

    Can you verify the servoMotor.detach(); function will move the servo toward 0? I have a project where I need to set the initial position to 90°. To save battery life and de-energize the servo I tried using ,detach(). but when calling detach() the servo is moved back toward 0° away from 90°. It seems the PWM is not stopped before the servo is detached causing the position to be changed. Has anyone else noticed this? can you suggest a workaround to prevent this from happening? Good tutorial BTW! Thanks

    nice vid. stupid question, does a servo have an index i.e. 0 - a default start position?

    • @FrostyFlankz
      @FrostyFlankz Рік тому

      You set the 0 by physically moving the arm to center

      @LucidFX. Рік тому +1

      @@FrostyFlankz I have created a mount in cad that once zero is sent for position 1 the mount can be moved to reflect the zero and tightened down and doesn't need to be adjusted again unless, of course you wan to change it i.e. your zero is actually in a different direction , so the sensor base will hold that until you want to change the orientation of position 1 for whatever reason. zero remains zero and each other sensor points in a different position 2 but position 1 is usually in the same direction or compass bearing
