I had heard of Bass Pro and Cabelas hunting and outdoors stores but never been to one. It turned out to be a pleasant surprise.
Join me in this episode as we travel from Springfield IL to Springfield MI where I camped at a Boondockers Welcome site. I will take you along to see a battlefield where the American Civil War of 1861 actually started, and we will end the day with a quick tour of a Bass Pro Shop. This Bass Pro is special for a number of reasons. Firstly, the owner of Bass Pro and Cabelas lives in Springfield MI so this is his flagship store, and secondly, because there is a marine world exhibit at the actual store.

Plus St. Louis has the US biggest and beautiful City Park better than Central Park New York City. You could have visited that as well. Also one small correction in the title, MI stands for Michigan state Missouri is MO. I know state shorts are weird!
