Meghalaya is one of the states belonging to seven sisters of NE..As rightly said, it an abode of clouds where clouds tend to descend even upto the ground level..You have highlighted beautifully the salient places which are unique in nature..Our visit to Shillong and cherapunji some time back is still afresh..Lush green sprawling mountains interspersed with pristine and serene lakes speak volumes of its majestic environ.. Well done Abhishek...

Are these places too remote to travel with a baby or the weather will be too.extreme? I basically want to avoid treks with the baby.. Any place that is reachable by car and place with electricity is preferred

we can preserve these places by not allowing tourists to go there. Bunch of people go there and then say o my god its getting spoiled. every one now a days is with camera

Best time to visit is oct - Nov or Feb - May, but if you want to experience non stop rainfall for days then June- Sep
