What I want to point out is this: It is completely unnecessary for commenters to say 『他的中文很爛。』 You are not a Chinese major, and there are plenty of UA-camrs in Taiwan who cannot speak Chinese anywhere close to your level. Chinese is hard--I've studied for a combined total of 12 or 13 years, and I'm finally at C1 level. It isn't easy--Leave Alan alone! Alan, good for you, you're doing great!! 😊

沒錯，這是中國的表達語言，和台灣的完全不同，會覺得在台灣根本用不上。例如：出租車（計程車），自行車（腳踏車），忙急了（忙死了）。台灣沒有這測驗軟體嗎？完全是出於中國設計的軟件。
但我覺得艾倫真的很厲害，中文程度很好了！

其實艾倫只要加強中文發音的音準，那麼就可以很容易跟人順利溝通，因為他的聽力沒問題，通常外國人學中文應該是說的比聽的能力好，艾倫剛好是相反的情況。

印象中英國人學中文的速度比美國人慢，程度也比較差一點，可能是因為在學習外語上美國人比較主動好奇， 而英國人就比較被動保守。
