J Mascis still has the same mannerism. Loved his Dinosaur Jr stuff from the 80's, especially Freak Scene and their cover of Just Like Heaven, which is a million better than the original version by The Cure.
He was very mean back then to pretty much everyone especially Lou and I HATE that I spent $65 on this British oral history of them which, yes, LOOKS great and has amazing rare photos and great info about Deep Wound but COMPLETELY skips over the band tension of those years. It just talks about the blowup in Idaho in 1987 (not even the infamous Lou feedback gig is mentioned) and then skips to Lous firing…) thank god we have vids like this to capture the tension
"Sandwiches consisted of white bread, a stick of butter and cucumbers when you get to a show and your like Mmmmm appetizing."

What kind of glasses is Murph wearing? Lol
Curious as this isn’t the album version of Freak Scene. Where was it recorded?
That version was used as the radio edit and included on the CD single of Just Like Heaven. Don't know where it was recorded though.
murph went thru chemo or some shit lmao
hahahahaha
Whats up with J? he always seems out of it
He's just really mellow.
@@rust2092 that's next level tho
this is actually him being chatty compared to how he is now
I'm pretty sure it's Asperger's.
