Holy refreshing! No drama, no outlandish childish colors, no, (frankly) over the top packaging... in the end costs too much.

Ma secondo lei , li possono acquistare tutti ? No

One of the things I appreciate about Bobbi Brown cosmetics is her functional and realistic approach to cosmetics. Addressing the concerns of those of us over in 40+ age range is important. The most useful products in the demo are the long wear shadow cream stick, which doubles as a primer base, shadow & liner, and the foundation stick (concealer and foundation), they are portable, easy to use, and a multi-use product. Love the gel liners but even me, a brunette, wouldn't use a black liner. Dark brown on top, and a medium brown on bottom. It still defines, but is not as harsh. I was a huge fan of the smokey eye, but the second I crossed the Rubicon at 45, it no longer worked for me. I found it aging (on me, your milage may vary).
The only thing lacking is a dedicated minimum SPF 50, which everyone needs to properly protect their skin from the sun and premature aging. The tiny amount of Primer + Radiance used in the demo is not enough for SPF protection.

If you buy products that have a balanced pH you can clean your face at any time.
la roche posay produce quality products with thermal Springwater that is the correct
pH.I’m not advertising them, it’s just what I use and I found out about them through a dermatologist. I started modelling age 22 but didn’t actually take care of my skin until I
was in my 40s! My confidence increased from better skin not from being told I was photogenic 😂 My favourite Bobby Brown product is the bisque concealer!

Love this!! I’ve followed you for years now & the best tip for me was putting the black or deep brown liner into the top lash line. It makes a huge difference especially for us natural blondes that have very light eyelashes. Even if I’m wearing “no make up” I do that, a bit of mascara, brows, tinted face cream & blush. It takes 5 minutes top & I have a “I woke up like this” look! If I have a few more minutes I add bronzer & highlighter. I use a cream highlighter as well. My skin is excessively dry, (as a teen I wore Vaseline at night!) so I’m definitely going to try the beauty water as a first step!

Tightlining is singularly the best technique for my small-ish almond-shaped hooded eyes. I discovered the trick while reading through some really outdated issues of Allure magazine and wondered why I'd never knew of it before----and I've read fashion magazines and makeup books since the 1970s!

  • @rosepetty6463

I feel she is very educated and I love her passion and knowledge. The thing that I had a hard time with, was her saying if the color doesn't match your neck you have the wrong color. I've found that in the summer people are not putting spf in their full body skin care routine and only protecting the face. so face and body are 2 different colors. Also people with larger faces or strong bone structure can have a lighter neck than both face and body.

Face tonic, serum, eye cream, primer radiance.....nonsense! My guess is those products are full of fragrance which your skin will hate! The only thing necessary in the morning to hydrate your skin is a fragrance free moisturizer that can be purchased at the drugstore! Watch dermatologist Dr. Dray for practical, affordable skin care advice!

Greetings from Malaysia... Thanks for your clear and brief tutorial. I love this type of makeup and I can feel fresh if I can apply makeup using this technique. I am in late 30s and surely will try this make up steps...

so pretty - I never can make up my mind about what the differences are really between Stonestreet and Medium.

    • @bobbibrown
      @bobbibrown  Рік тому

We're here for you, Joelle! Most often, the Medium and Stonestreet shades in our Bronzing Powder are recommended for light to medium skin tones. The Medium is a reddish brown and ideal for those that burn and then tan. The Stonestreet is more neutral, ideal for those that get a couple shades deeper with a bit of sun, but their tan is not reddish brown or golden brown, it's truly neutral. We hope this helps and if you have additional questions, our online Artists are standing by to assist further at bobbibrown.com. They'd love to hear from you!

My go to from Bobbi Brown is the Extra Treatment Lotion and the Pot rouge. The lotion lasts me just under a year and the rouge abut 18 months. I consider them investments because they really make a difference, especially the lotion... the rest I can take or leave.

Well it's about time Bobbi Brown put Beauty by Sloane on their channel. Your videos are always so good on your channel and this one was great as well.
I so miss using Bobbi Brown products. The only Bobbi Brown counter in my city just isn't staffed anymore. Every time I go to the mall and try to get assistance with selection of products and shades, there is nobody on the counter. Someone from another line offers to help but I want to get advice from someone who knows the products. I tried Sephora but their staff doesn't really have the level of knowledge that I once experienced at the BB counter. It's been three years now...I really don't know why the counter is still in existence.

Your face is beautiful with or without makeup. Your tips are great.
Eventually, putting too much makeup will harm & dry the skin.
