A good fighter, a well-rounded fighter needs an answer to every threat. Leon knew Belal is that type of fighter, and he should have adjusted his skills accordingly. In an actual fight, on the street, no one is going to judge you for the techniques you’re using. As long as you’re in control of the opponent, you have won. The other thing about fighters is that they don’t have to fight stupid, like Chandler, fighting smart is good for the title and for their longevity. Fans are not going to pay their bills when they’re retired.

Matt Hamill's shoulder dislocated and he couldn't continue, Mazzagatti really did mess that up, it's only a DQ if the illegal strike ends the fight otherwise it's supposed to be a NC or TKO loss for Hammil due to injury. Athletic Commissions are notorious for never overturning their refs or judges to save face with the public.
