remember that the icon next to the hammer when placing Burgage plots will change the number of homes to be placed. with a large enough plot, a single plot will hold 2 families meaning more people in less construction. this continues to apply once plots are leveled up and start earning Regional Wealth.
Reminder, almost everything is upgradable. Including the starting tent camp, for one log you can make that into five starter homes w/ some initial storage.
Taking out bandit camps gets you favor, deforestation leads to berries dieing, use advanced tab on each building to set a zone to work - no need to move logging camp every time, build forester to repopulate trees to then harvest for timber, always need families in storage and granary to supply food and other items to the people and market.
You can build chicken coops, vegetable garden, goat sheds and orchards in backyard extensions without the family becoming unavailable. They only become unavailable for artisan extensions.
I don't think ALL house-upgrades remove that family as a worker. You'll have to read the tooltips, but the crafters become Artisans, which removes them from the worker-pool. I think vegetable gardens just give you a small bonus at no cost.
Yup it removes them from the pool so you need to weigh carefully if you really want to do it. So far I haven't found it worth it in the early game to do it.
You are correct, its the level 2 and upwards ones that remove them from worker pool, although I do think someone from the family sets up a market stall with the level 1 upgrades, so you dont have the full family, you can see the stall on the worker icon when that family is also running a market stall
Yes only level 2 upgrades remove them from workforce. I had several of my first families upgraded with farms, goats, and chickens and they were still able to work outside the house
You should move your hunters camp right by the animals because they will hunt more efficiently. Same with the berries. Remember distance is everything in this game and effects efficiency
I picked the giant chicken complete with a yellow body with red legs and comb on a black background for my crest. I figured the enemies would be laughing so hard when they see me coming that I'd be able to defeat them easily 🐔
I give up Imao ive loved the last few days playing but i cant fathom it. Im like 60 days off the raiders coming. And ive only got a few house to level 2. But can never make anyone make armour or weapons or anything because of my wealth. Aswell as people wanting more things in stalls but their isn't much Berry's or animals anymore. Just completely stuck and its the 3rd time ive tried it. end up loving my little town then the dreaded raid day gets close and i just leave the game because cant get prepared quick enough im just thick as fck Imao

I don't think anyone mentioned this yet but if you take down too many trees around the berry bushes, they will die off.
and the animals too they migrate if you take their trees
Thank you for this!
Thats strange, i took all the trees down using fields then deleted the fields, berry bushes didnt dissapear though?
@@moffat5914they really like their trees 🌲

You shouldn't do that in your first town. You can be in burgages by May. They're more for your expansion towns.

The vegetable garden, chickens, and goat shed do NOT remove the family from the general work pool. Only the Artisan upgrades do

@@joefawcett2191does that have any practical effect on the productivity of their main business?
Honestly, Z, waiting for soooo long for you to start this series.
Hope you will enjoy it and have a fun time along with us your favourite viewers.
Dont know why but love edit kept poping up “ *WHEAT “ made me laugh every time 😄
Don't know why the Dev didn't just use the word wheat instead. Hopefully he'll change that in a later update.
Maybe he has a bigger plan for farming 😄
You can specify the work area for the foragers (and other gatherers too). Use this to focus them on the berry patch
I really wish we could see the Commandos game series in this graphics and engine. Wouldn't that be awesome?
It doesnt take workers away by having backyard gardens my man. That comes later on for artisan works
I believe this is how Age Of empires IV should look like
This game seems based more off of lords of the realm.
I like the corn, if you are starving after a long winter you could import some food with the trading post.
This reminds me of lords of the realm 2. Anybody here remember that awesome game?

I always pick the mighty rooster as my emblem in crusader kings. Will do the same in manor lords.
They dont become unavailable as workers with the level 1 extensions
Planet crafter put flower seeds in seed spreaders
I play on gforce now ultimate through my phone on to my tv I've never seen such a stunning game
This reminds me of stronghold
Never clicked a notification as fast as this one! 😅
Right? 😂❤🎉
Should keep this one on your farming channel!❤
I had a good game today but the game just said I was defeted after 290+ days but I was not attacked. Is that the end of the game so far?
same happened to me
🎉yasss! More fallout too plz 🙏🏻 😅
Its still wheat, not corn... :)
I think it’s because you had a farm last time you were playing
Is there a part two?
Yes. Check out my playlist ua-cam.com/play/PL8Hr8BU6bPOl9DUkc6s8EBBNyivGv8IpJ.html

so this is just an expensive Farmville?
home farms do not take workers.
to much focus on militia... you didn't start the timer for battle this time as you did on your first start
I have money on him only doing a couple episodes of this and never playing it again hahahah
sadly if people stop watching that is what will happen.
