man i wish i could use tap water for my pitchers. the water where i live is too hard and it would kill them :( thankfully im at least in a great spot for collecting rainwater lol
Damn this gives me nostalgia for when I would run out to set up my rainwater traps every time I saw the clouds rolling in. Grew gargantuan nepenthes for two years before my dumbfuck family killed them when I went on holiday for two weeks
Cheers man. Took a while to get over it - because they didn't accidentally let it die or forget about it, they actively went out of their way to kill it. I was furious for months on end
@@noaccount4 Wait now I'm curious to know what you mean. Were they just really irresponsible and doing everything that is wrong, or did they really, purposedly want to kill the plants? Because that doesn't sound like a great family
What type of orchid Cattleya Vanda Sedirea Aerirdires Rhycholistis dendrobium phalaenopsis phalaenopsis miltoniopsis ondoglossium miltonia catasetums lepanthes leptotes dracula Masdevallia habenaria bulbophyllum Or some other order I don't know :p
Not sure if you’re joking or not but if you’re not, the plant is fine. Flushing the soil helps remove contaminants and help aerate the soil. Also there’s drain holes at the bottom so the excess water just drains out. No worries.

I never knew I could be so mournful for a plant that wasn’t even mine, I’m sorry for your plant loss

You are the gardener I strive to be
IIRC putting #shorts in the description lets UA-cam know you want it to be treated as a UA-cam Shorts video instead of a regular upload.
Is it okay to put my humidifier on at 80% for an hour each day for my nepenthes?
Sure. Nepenthes like high humidity
Thanks for the giggles.
Yup nepenthese care really similar to Orchids minus the fertilizer

Put #shorts in the desc or title

@@botanicalchaos It helps youtube know to make it a youtube short instead of a normal vid
Oh cool
Bro las nepentes no necesitan tanta agua y tiene que ser agua con pocos nutrientes sin minerales
Aunque ni idea de lo que dijiste no se inglés xd
Were to the wise I don’t never use sink water I always use distilled water or rain water
