As a CA student in articleship, I had also been pondering over the possibilities of an MBA as well, but have always been worried about the right 'profile' for making a strong application. I do know some basics of how to go about them & have been following certain people/websites around this topic, and hence have a brief idea about the options. However, I do want to know what particularly impacts your profile like, academics, extra curriculars, academic or non academic achievements, etc and their relative importance in a profile. Therefore, if you could share insights, from your personal experience regarding this (along the lines of, let's say, what you thought impacted you selection into the programme, etc), it'd be extremely helpful. And yes, keep making these videos, they're very helpful😃👌

high sky thanks for your comment Indira 🙏🏼💕 means a lot to me. I would say - yes an MBA of course adds a lot of value to your existing qualifications. If you do an MBA after CA it will be super beneficial to get jobs in general management or as a CFO or as a management consultant or to even start your own business. But an MBA would not be too useful if you want to practice as a chartered accountant (i.e. as an auditor or taxation advisor) as the CA degree is enough for providing those specialist services

Imagine being a marketeer with the strongest foothold in finance! You will be able to analyse all marketing strategies better than others.

Neelam Nishad it depends on what you want to do post your MBA. If you love numbers - you can specialise in finance and be a financial leader in an organisation post the MBA.

Mam can a ca fresher do masters in management ?Is it a good choice?Because MBA abroad needs minimum 3 years of work experience so working for those these 3 years and doing MBA is time consuming and more suitable for those who want to stay in abroad forever. For those who want to work for few years in abroad (gaining international experience)and return to India I think mostly MIM is suitable.

I have a question for you though
I was always an average student (cleared my 10th and 12th with average marks)
Graduated with like first division
And even in ipcc i kept failing for like 2-3 attempts But somehow i managed to score an AIR 13 (was also state topper) in nov19 ipcc exams and now I'm doing my articleship from one of the big4s
So mehar this is what i am as of now . how is this going to be taken into while applying for my MBA to any big university (take hbs for eg of even imperial) anything i can do to improve my profile ?

Neelam Nishad it depends on what you want to do post your MBA. If you love numbers - you can specialise in finance and be a financial leader in an organisation post the MBA.
