A friend of mine who is a vegitarian is going through IVF and the doctors told her to revert back to meat as they need her body in tip top shape for IVF. Says alot doesn't it...
Not really but if we are going by anecdotal case then I know 2 women who are vegan and had no issues going through IVF so no it doesn’t say just means as long as you eat a balanced vegan or not supplementation is also added in meat and vegan products so its moot to say just vegans need supplements.

Not exactly the same. I used to work with a vegan couple. When work got hard they would feel unwell. And started eating some sort of food bar. He fainted several times.

While it's theoretically possible to obtain all nutrients from a vegan diet, its rarely done. Even a vegetarian diet is skimping it amino acid (protein) wise.
I force myself to eat some salad in the summer (with meat) to keep my wife happy and she's fully aware I consider it 'rabbit food'. We are carnivores and no middle class do-gooder is going to turn me 'vegan' or any of the other 7 or 8 other faddy eating styles.

If an action involves an innocent victim, then said action is immoral. So that's why I would argue that eating meat (excluding road kill) which inevitably involves the mistreatment of an innocent victim is wrong.

Pointing out the apparent contradiction in how we eat some animals and not others is not actually an argument against the concept of eating meat. We probably don't eat cats and dogs because we tried them and they weren't very nice.
We don't eat cats and dogs because they are meat eaters and as such are more prone to parasites that would kill us

I worked with someone from the Philippines and ate dog said it tastes like chicken. Also in Margate many years ago saw cat skins hanging on a wall in the back room of a Chinese takeaway.

These people are not vegans, they are activists. One of the core principles of veganism is 'First, do no harm'. Do not control the will of animals. People are animals. So we should have free choice too. You do not have our consent to make decisions for us.

Sure we can eat meat and plants but why eat meat if you have access to supermarkets and good produce in your area it’s bizarre to eat animals unnecessarily when people live in western countries like the UK, America and others I understand in poorer countries where lack of food is an issue but to use taste as a reason to eat an animal is cruel to me but Im not forcing people to stop eating meat I just have my opinion just like others will have theirs.

For many years we were under the assumption that our closest relatives the chimpanzee had mainly a vegetarian diet. But it turns out they eat meat also at every opportunity they can get. Surely that is proof that it is not just a human societal development,but a biological need for meat. Our guts are designed to break meat down.We have specialised teeth also.
I believe like many things these days veganism in particular has become a sort of religion,and for these people to force their belief down our throats is akin to a preacher standing on a pulpit lecturing us on how we should worship God. If they want to do it to themselves that's fine. I would love to see independent studies on long term veganism,and vegetarianism,and compare their bodies response to viruses,infections,bone development etc. I honestly think that a lot of these people do what they do for ethical reasons,and I can admire that,but they are being preached to themselves by people that have an agenda. They want us all to become like them. It is sadly a human narcissistic trait.

I tried vegan food for a while. Tbh some of the food is actually quite nice (No meat substitutes) however it’s such a limiting diet and gets boring very quickly. Eating meat is good for you.

Who is she to say that animals want to live free from suffering? There is something called the food chain in nature. ..even taking humans out of it, no wild animal lives free from suffering. Nature is not meant to be free from suffering. We all need some level of suffering to appreciate and protect the good.
A vegan diet doesn't include dairy or eggs. If a vegan is opposed to having milk from cows that have been treated well (and would otherwise not exist) it can't be based on cruelty. Likewise if vegans are against eating eggs purely based on cruelty or killing animals, a vegan could eat eggs from chickens who are free to roam and well looked after. I think there is far more to this campaign to promote veganism. Multi-national corporations have the potential to vastly increase their profits if they destroy the livelihood of farms by promoting and selling all manner of vegan substitutes for meat, dairy (including cheese) and eggs, by using their underhand tactics. What they don't tell you is vegan substitutes are over processed and very unhealthy.
Time to erradicate the middle class.
