Trump and Tucker and those who cheer this madness are not only depraved but quite frankly evil. My heart goes out to all the victims of abuse and their families and friends. Yes! As l posted elsewhere, these children marry abusers. They stay in these abusive marriages because that is all they know. They keep a mental list of what not to do to avoid a spanking/beating. The problem is the list always changes and new things are added. If doing “A” would get you a beating, you learned to do “B” instead. The next day or week doing “B” would be the trigger. The cycle just perpetuates. I know because that was ME.

I was happy when my daughter slammed her bedroom door because that showed me that she found her own voice! This voice carried her through her teen years, young adulthood and now her forties. She has a very bright and compassionate voice that grew from that door slamming. I chose to honor her voice and foster it not to shut her up and control her. I’m a very proud mama!
Mine too. I needed to see that she could stand up for herself. She practiced on me. She’s in college now & I am confident that she can push back when people try to bust through her boundaries because she wasn’t punished for practicing setting them when she was learning about them.

I was happy when my daughter slammed her bedroom door because that showed me that she found her own voice! This voice carried her through her teen years, young adulthood and now her forties. She has a very bright and compassionate voice that grew from that door slamming. I chose to honor her voice and foster it not to shut her up and control her. I’m a very proud mama!
