Ryfossen is very powerful waterfall in the river Storåni near in the small town Ryfoss, municipality Vang/Oppland. The waterfall can be found along road E16 just after the dam in the river Storåni where the water drops down over 12 meters.
The view on Ryfossen from the main road is good so you can’t miss this powerful waterfall. Just in front of Ryfossen there is a parking with an information board. Walk a little upstream, from the parking, to get a better view.
Close by you will find another very beautiful waterfall called Sputrefossen (Givrisfossen) between Ryfoss and Vang.
