I had read somewhere that the true meaning behind this song was about a B-17G serial number 42-3*7734* of the 336th Bomb Squadron of the 95th Bomb Group. The B-17 was known by the Germans as “evil metal gods” (do glatem live). The B-17 crews believed that their aircraft had a soul of their own. When the song talks about souls returning to paradise it’s not just the loss of life but the loss of the aircraft as well. On 42-37734s last sortie, she was hit by flak and went down in flames. Of her 10 crew members, 7 were captured, one was killed, and two escaped. On May 28, 2009 one of the two escapees of 7734 returned to the rest of his crew in paradise “and 2 became 1”. 7734 was one of 156 B-17s of the 95th Bomb Group to be shot down. Of those 156, 111 of them were said to have “gone down in flames.”
Dog Latin leader Do glatem live EDIT: if you add 3 and 4 together you get 7. 777. Then 777-111 you get 666 then flip it upside down you get 999 then subtract 222 you get 777 again. Flip 777 upside down you get LLL then flip it upside down again you get 777 then take that 3rd seven and split it into 3 and 4 and your back at square one with 7734.
Damn, I thought this song was about a submarine or something, and then when I heard the line "perished in flames" I thought it was about a Holocaust survivor. I had no idea it was so much deeper.
I discovered this song this morning and almost had a car crash bc I got immediately addicted to it, and kept playing it again and again in the car ! As a maths teacher (yeah, nobody's perfect !😉), I had got the 3+4 =7, then 777 - 111 = 666, but didn't know that 7734 = hell (Engliish is not my mother language ; but here in France we also played writing stupid things on calculators 😀). Very interesting vid, new sub ! \m/
@@BelgianJasper thanks Jasper ! I've got already added some of your vids into my "watch later" playlist (don't know if it's the right English term ; en français : playlist "à regarder plus tard" )🤘
7734: HELL last 2 united, two became one : 3+4 = 7 == 777 stands for the godly-whole and justice 111 perished in flames: 777-111 = 666 == Number of the Biest xD
"The last two united (3+4=7) and two became one (7 and 7->77)": 777; "111 (777-111=666) they perished in flames (Damnation in hell)" "Do glatum live ('Evil metal god' backwards, probably Satan) , creator of all (God, obviously)" 666 and the calculator "HELL" add up, and with "Evil metal god" and "creator of all", the fight between good and evil is a pretty strong theme.
Very interesting video, I heard a radio history channel a few month`s ago that the number of the beast might be 616, if that`s true the numerical theories will have to be recalculated. Keep up the good work.
This explanation seems to avoid referencing Val Halla and concepts of the afterlife. How one perceives hell to be, another culture may recognize as paradise. Video seemed a little drawn out and your answers I felt were a little unfulfilling. Borderline clickbait.
Sorry you feel that way Spaceboy. I reference the Viking Gods and Age (Valhalla) in the video, but that is not what the song is really about 😉 thanks for commenting! 🤘
i think this song has multiple meaning since to could refer to vikings it could be biblical and (my opinion can refer to the poem Our Hitch in Hel). its open to a persons interpretation
Congratulations, you just ruined the song for me. I’m going to try to forget this and have 7734 mean something righteous instead of satanic in my mind.
Is the mystery this elaborate the number 7734 just spells out hell on a calculator upside down. What more does this signify nothing this whole video was a waste of time. I just wanted to see what you had to say about it.

That's a great theory! That band have since confirmed it's just about Metal tho, but I really love the detail in the theory!
This is my most favorite Sabaton song, like my top song!
Awesome 🤘 hope you enjoyed the video!
@@BelgianJasper Of course and what you say actually sounds correct, all that time I had no idea what the second is trying to tell us!

Yes that is true, and I think that the band HIM used to change their song Your Sweet Six Six Six to Your Sweet Six One Six when played live 😊
@@BelgianJasper Imagine maiden would do the same thing!
Yeah, and that "beast" isnt Satan, but Caesar (emperor) Nero. But in the subculture of metal, the 666 and Satan are more known.
It's a fucking awesome banger.
Yes!!
I always thought it was just ‘hell’ spelled upside down
RAF also had a squadron called 111
Nice review, man! \m/
Thanks!!
Excellent explanation man
Thanks Cris, glad you liked it!
In conclusion, Sabaton are the masters of the world.
The only logical conclusion 🤘

Metalizer is my favourite album, my favourite song in Metalizer is probably Metalizer itself
That is a bold statement... I can't say I agree but everyone can choose for themselves 👊😉

Well, already knew, but still a good video
Thanks for the comment 🤘🤘🤘
I was told that this song is about the negative connotations of metal
It's funnier considering that they toured with Judas Priest lately.
💯
Thank from Sabaton fan✌️
Plot twist it's a sabatonian prophecy and judgement day will be in the year 7734
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Could you possibly find out what the sabaton song camouflage is based off of?
Well... It's a cover song 🤷
This stuff is so meta its outmetaing the meta
never was meta meta'd more than this meta
Would have preferred the American Revolution theory.....
Well, there are a lot of fun theories about the song, but the point of the video was to give the real meaning of the song 🤘😉
Yeah they need more USA songs about our wars

if you weight 90 pounds then you're not pumping it to sabaton lol
