I really love your videos😍 and your pony is amazing! Positive reinforcement has built an open mind in your pony, it's fantastic! I would like to see more videos about ethical riding trought positive reinforcement:)

I love your videos! I was wondering if you could make one about separation anxiety and how to overcome it with positive reinforcement?

Hi, thank you for your support. I can't guarantee I will have time for it but will try. Worst case scenario separation anxiety is a topic I will extensively cover in volume 2 of "humane, science-based horse training".

Lovely pony and video! I find your channel very inspiring and have been trying to start using +R with my own horse. She is afraid of the recycled whip target stick though and I'm not sure how to countercondition so it isn't scary as she finds it threatening unless I hold it very low down by my side. This attitude makes me suspect she has possibly been abused at some point in the past. Maybe I should just use a different target for the time being...

Angela Faust To be fair I think it's not always abuse as much as them never being the source of good things

Angela Faust you could also try a small cone or Frisbee as a target. The target stick is not mandatory just practical you can use anything else you want as long as it's not dangerous or scary to the horse :)

Fair Horsemanship thank you for the suggestion, I was trying to think of something else that would make a good target. XD
