"if your life is miserable and your just being rude on the internet, you can keep that to yourself" haha so many people need this XD
Lol, thanks!
"... unless your horse is a couple French fries short of a happy meal" HAHAHAHA🤣
I love the idea! I'm gonna try all of these. Thanks!
You're welcome!
If your horse eats his grain too fast a big block o pink hymalaian rock salt is great for slowing them down plus giving them the salt they need
I like that idea! We had a senior pony that we put big smooth rocks in his feed pan, but I like the salt idea too!
Thanks for all the helpful tips!!
You're welcome!

Oh good! I'm glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for your comment!
my horse LOVES milk jugs
Do you fill them with treats or anything? Also I saw your name, you may want to check out my bitless bridle video!
Let your horses out of the stall and roam on a Paddock Paradise. That's in their DNA ❤️
I totally agree. This is for times that due to injury or ice that they need to stay in. My horses are out 24/7 otherwise.
Some horses have to be kept off grass due to laminitis and can need to be euthanized if not monitored on grass
@@keena8442 A Paddock-Paradise is by definition grass free.
I never thought of horses getting bored, although that makes sense. Great ideas. My pappy built a huge indoor area ( what I now know is like an arena) where we would turn out the horses in winter when we cleaned stalls ( every morning) . I think we only had like ten or fifteen horses most of the time. We also had to walk our horses every day except in really frigid weather. All us grandkids were responsible for our own horse and we took it seriously. I don't recall them ever being bored or being destructive, although they could have been from time to time.
That's great that you were able to do that! Yes, they get very bored. Stall life is very unnatural for horses and can really be stressful for them.
Awesome tips!! Stay warm out there 😁
Thank you! Yes! I'm going to get as much done as possible with today's heat wave of 30!
ShadeTreeStables lucky,it is 4 degrees here
That's our forecast for the weekend, so I'm trying to get everything as ready as I can! Stay warm Gloria!
ShadeTreeStables 😁 thank you!❤
You're welcome!
Thanks.
You're welcome!
Thank you for the ideas I’m new to stalls and I only have two horses and two miniature ponies, and one of the miniature ones bores super easily and is really fat so we took her out of pasture to go on a little diet lol
You're welcome
I just heard that ponies tend to get fat if the grass is to rich? I never knew that
@@judygagnon907 yes, especially miniature horses will founder and develop laminitis if they are out on grass. They can still be turned out - just with a grazing muzzle and/or out in a sand paddock. Or just bringing them in at night. Ponies can get very fat being on grass all the time - not good for joints and overall health.

Awesome! Thanks so much! Feel free to share :)
Stall enrichment ideas...............open the stall door.
No need to be rude. There are times that everything here is covered in ice. I've known horses that have done the splits on ice and broken their pelvis. This grey horse had melanoma surgery where a tumor had to be removed from inside his TMJ and had to be on stall rest. Please think of others before you make mindless comments.
Laminitis/ have you heard of that genius
