Yeah super hand for getting into tight spots and not making a mess of everything! If I did more landscaping work like this, this thing would almost be a necessity!
Thanks man! Yeah that thing was fun to run actually but I don't think I'd want to run it all day everyday, it will kill your feet LOL! Track hopefully came in today and I'll have the Deere back up and running this week! Thanks for watching!
I am looking at buying one of these but I would be curious if I could put a 60inch, low profile long bottom bucket on it for improved grading capabilities...thoughts?
60" might be a bit much but I would call the local Bobcat dealer and ask them to see if it could handle it. But if you could do that this thing would do some grading for sure.
Yeah I was talking to Greg the landscaper at the end, he was thinking about getting a little bit bigger machine, like a Takeuchi TL6 for some larger jobs. He's had experience with them and really likes the Taks, can't say I blame him they make a great machine. But that little ASV looks cool too!
@@idigit4967 was thinking about upgrading my tractor, might keep the one I have & look at a low hour RT25. Be perfect for a weekend warrior on my little 15 acre tract. It will run a 42” brush cutter with dingo style mounts (MTL XC4 or RUT).
They are fun i used to work for a dealer/disturber out of fort hell. If there is an attachment for a full size there is an attachment for the stand on. The tx dingos suck because you walk behind them plus Toro killed dingo in the US
The hardwoods could have probably been dug up with a decent sized mini but those two pines, you wouldn't get those out of the ground unless you had a full size excavator. The tap roots for pines in this area can go up to 25 feet deep into the ground. I know from experience, I pulled one in the summer of 2019 with my little Deere 35D. Took me almost 2 hours to get it out of the ground and it was over 12 feet long from ground level to the end of the tap.
Indispensable for landscaping jobs in tight access areas. I'd used the Toro and that was waaay better than the wheelbarrow. I see a JD45O in your future...
I think if I'd been the landscaper I'd have rented a skidsteer for you. That was painful to watch. I got frustrated just watching so can imagine how you felt actually doing it.
It actually wasn't bad. We had the larger tractor there if we need it for grading too. Just took a bit longer but it got the job done just fine and saved the landscaper from have to pay to rent.

Great camera view, love the skid steer when used to grade... Great video, could watch all day.
Glad you enjoyed watching!
@@idigit4967 yes indeed! Instant satisfaction!
Skid Steer usage and dirt work is the BEST! liked Viewed, shared and subscribed! Great content!
Those mini skids are pretty darn sweet

Muy buen video saludos abrazo grande desde Argentina 😊
Argentina, un pais muy bonito con mucha historia y cultura. Que piensas de tu nuevo presidente?
Nice work buddy those mini skids take some getting use to. Hopefully you get your track fixed soon 👍🏻

@@idigit4967 I’ve used them a lot there a lot of fun you get used to the standing not to bad overtime
Got an idea take them tracks off the Bob cat put them in your skid steer lol
🤣🤣🤣 LOL I wish!
ON the Mt 100 Thay make 7 inch tracks or 9.5 inch tracks any body have 7 inch and what do you think about them??

Before you buy an MT100, look at the Kymron stand on skids. The quality is great and at less than half the price of an MT100.
Pretty cool machine, think I’d rather have a ASV RT25 subcompact over a tracked stand behind for about the same cost.

Yeah the ability to stand on that thing is a big time saver and I couldn't imagine having to walk behind one of those things all day!
Bobcat needs to make a stump grinder attachment for those then you wouldn't need to have some one else to do that
They make stump grinders for mini skids. They are about 7000 for the hydraulic articulating head
Yeah and they make them for full skids and they are great.
جميل جدا ما هي احسن اله من نوع هذا وما هو اسم احسن اله فيهم❤❤❤
👍👍
Thanks Tom!
Price?
Maybe some weight in the bucket would hold it steady.
Good point!
Should a new landscaper upgrade to a tractor or bobcat first?
Why do so many customers settle for grinding when the tree stubs should be dug up and removed? I shake my head every time I see this...

And dealing with displacement over the years as it rots.

Yeah that was definitely a cool little machine! I had fun running it! Can definitely fit in almost anywhere!

Oh that's a cool idea Artemus! Thanks for sharing!
This place looks familiar…
What is that Brown Grass?
Its sod, don't know what particular type tho. Its dormant so it looks brown but it will be green here in a few weeks when it warms up!
I hope y’all didn’t pay a lot of money for that dead looking grass
Its not dead, its dormant sod, thats what it looks like when you get it this time of year. It will be green in a few weeks when it warms up.
That sod looks horrible. The quality.
It’s warm season grass it goes dormant in the fall.
Will come back alive when warm weather returns.😂
