Paul Daniels Magic Show S04E04

Superb episode this week. I vividly remember watching Tom Noddy as a kid and trying (and failing) to recreate his bubble tricks. I also convinced my dad to set up the coconut routine on our washing line in the garden - and breaking the line with the weight of the swinging coconuts. Good times!

If you're wondering, Tom Noddy still performs to this day and has switched to a handheld fog machine to replace the cigarette. Not only because he has quit smoking, but because he does a lot of kids science lectures and didn't want the image of smoking in his shows.

I'm looking for a particular episode where Paul said something along the lines of "put the kids to bed, the next trick will be scary. I'm going to turn myself into a monster". My dad actually put me to bed early and I've been wondering what he did ever since, almost certain it would have been a joke. Will have been the early nineties, any ideas?

Have you got the episode where Paul uses an lazer illusion on his assistant , think it was from the early 80s
