what's really pretty incredible is how she can adjust the melody on the spot to deal with her vocal issues. The knows her head voice isn't there but she keeps testing it and working around it. Whitney may have made choices that negatively affected her voice but she is pretty intelligent and is a truly crafted vocalist.
Yes. Whitney Houston had full mastery of her vocals and could improvise on the spot in a millisecond. That's just one of many reasons why she was, is, and always will be The Greatest Voice of All.

In Europe they were mostly very good to her. In the US another story which is also why she did not tour there.
I remember that. It was terrible. Still, the real fans stood by her. It took a lot of courage and humility for her to go on stage and perform those songs knowing that her voice wasn’t all there anymore. I admire her for it.

I've seen her twice in the early 80s and mid 80s. She was beautiful and amazing too see. I love her so much. I want to remember her for her triumphs which she had lots of. Not her personal life. Cause through all she dealt with she gave us her best.

Personally if I were whitney I would have sung this I have nothing over and would have left I will always love you out. That's really the only song she didnt sing well anymore. Her voice was basically the same as the just whitney era. I'm just shocked it took the I look to you album for people to realize she didn't sound like the bodyguard era anymore. Her voice hasn't been the same since 1995 but she could still sing better than most. This performance was amazing!

I think her lung disease took much of her breath support away and people really anted to hear her biggest hit and she probably felt under pressure to please the fans
