I've always loved when Lucas calls Nathan "little brother". Don't get me wrong, there is one episode where Nathan calls Lucas "big brother", but I love that the last words in the season were "I could do this forever, little brother."

To be honest, this was the best ending they ever had. The show could have ended then with that awesome finale. Nathan getting that goodness he always had and the look he gives Lucas is pure brotherly love.
Completely agreed I'm new to this show haven't watched it b4 this was an amazing ending but as soon as lucas and payton leaves the show it wasn't worth watching

This was my absolutely favourite ending of OTH when they all were still together this was the best ending scenes ever I loved the dance all the girls did to the song WANNABE by SPICE GIRLS such an iconic scene!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And she will always going to love him forever and she always did that and I’m glad that they got married in the end and got their daughter Sawyer together too!!!!!!!
I also like in the 2nd season when Brooke says "kiss a teammate on the mouth" and Nathan goes "well I guess you guys win" on dare night. Nathan was also funny with lines like those two lol
Lucas: "God, I love you so much Peyton"..... yeah it is these moments that I miss.... Leyton TLA everyone else is playing ball... Leyton is in their own lil world. :-)
Season 4 finale was a great Close to the high school chapter but life doesn’t end after high school. Season five picked up with everybody falling short of achieving your dreams. struggling a little bit and adjusting their dreams. Season six what about refocusing your dreams and achieving them season six finale what’s another perfect ending to another chapter and moving onto the next one unfortunately that chapter did not include Layton
Love the full circle throwback thing to the pilot, but when you think about it Brooke, Bevin, Chase and Rachel where actually not there then but they probably all knew what Nathan meant with "are you ready for a rematch" to Lucas. And then the Rocky ending thing homage was cute was well
Yeah, Chase and Rachel weren't there in the pilot. Brooke may not have been at the game, where Lucas beat Nathan, and neither was Bevin, but Brooke heard about it, if not from Peyton, then from literally anybody else. Bevin may have heard about that game too, like Brooke, but never actually saw it. As far as I know, the characters that were there were Skills, Junk, Fergie, Jimmy, Mouth, Haley, Tim, Whitey, and last but not least of all, Peyton. I don't know if Karen, Keith, or Dan were there,
@ericayea I agree with you this is the way it all started that cold night on the court when Nate challenges Lucas to a game in season 1 and here they are again it''s like a full circle and that is why I love the final shot where the director held the scene it's so powerful and tells the story of how it all began....

Season 6 is sadly when it ended for me, i am watching season 9 because as a mega fan i feel as i should but the main reason is i want to know the story for when chad/lucas returns. Im still praying hilarie/peyton makes a surprise apperance but i am expecting lots of leyton gossip during the ep, it the least we deserve :D

Season 5 was worth it. The struggle to achieve what they wanted. It was not a season to scrap for sure.
