- Its time to get stuck into another project, this time one I will finish and enjoy doing so :)
Its been a very long time since my last video, so please excuse the poor sound and editing quality - I am very out of practice! Hopefully it will all come back to me! - Авто та транспорт
So good to have VisionAuto back again, love the videos!
Good to see you back hope to see more of this project
welcome back! Looking forward to seeing this evolve. some great engineering needed for this one i think. much better than just bolting bits on. BTW thanks for the inspirational work you did with your MG midgets.
So good your back making videos! Can’t wait to see you idea come to life! Please finish’s this project though haha
its good to be back! This will be too fun not to finish :)
Great to see you back. Thanks for all the inspiration you’ve given me on my mg midget project 👍
Cool project too by the way
Good to see you're back. Looking forward to seeing how this progresses. BTW, what was the fate of the Metro in the end?
Thanks! The metro is now in the hands of another youtube channel Drizz Developments.
Good to see you back doing stuff and putting out videos.
Regarding the reverse rotation thing, I’m fairly sure that, although the crankshaft rotates the ‘wrong’ way, they have an output/balancer shaft that’s gear driven so rotates the right way for a conventional diff. Some American UA-camrs on the “Cars and Cameras” channel built a buggy with a Chevette rear axle powered by a BMW K1000 engine and I don’t imagine the 1200 is so very different.
Hi Emma, I’ve watched some cars and cameras stuff so I will take a look! Thanks!
The axle they used was also ccw, from a Chevy 👍🏻
Good to see you back, what happened yo the metro
This'll sound utterly mental (because it is) but with an aftermarket ECU could you make the engine run backwards? All bike gearboxes i've had to bits are straight cut, so shouldn't be an issue there...
Could be an option, if the cams are accommodating…
Can't you just flip the axle?
Flipping the axle would certainly work, but it would mean the diff crown wheel would be driving on the back side of the gear ramp, so it would wear quickly and make a ton of noise. If reverse cut gears were available it would be worthwhile i think.
@@VisionAutoGarage I run a Honda Civic engine in my trials car which has a simple dropper gear on the back of the bellhousing to reverse it. Just two en24 gears from HPC which I had nitrided after machining to fit the simple box I made for it.
