- Finally I'm a US citizen! Sharing with you my US citizenship interview and oath ceremony last Feb. 9, 2022 at USCIS Denver. It took me almost 3 months from the time I filed my N-400 application until my naturalization ceremony.
What's next for me? I'll be applying for my US Passport, Change the status of my SSN and apply for my dual citizenship!

Had my interview on 16th Mar 2022 at Newark, Nj. Had oath the same time. Lady was very nice and asked simple questions like First president , what age to vote , Chief Justice, who makes federal laws, one war in 1800. No definitions. Was in n out in less than 10 minutes. Good luck everyone

Btw my daughter had interview today and uscis called to cancel due to short staff but she still showed up and they took her n she had her oath the same time. Same Newark location 🎉🎊

Congratulations to us both. I also applied in November 2021 and got my interview and oath taking ceremony done last Monday February 14th 2022. I immediately applied for passport after the ceremony. Passport is coming in this Friday in the mail.

Congratulations! I'm still waiting for the notice of the interview. I filed my N400 last December 22, 2021. Good thing I checked my N400 and I made a minor error regarding my spouse's number of marriages. Thanks for this video.

Congratulations! 3 months is amazingly fast! Processing times for Denver, CO FO show 9 to 15 months. I wonder if that's the norm these days! Will be applying in a couple of weeks!

@@IndayLorayUSA because they process the newest applicants. I’ve seen random videos for approved applicants in different state. I just feel frustrated and anxious! I’m sorry, just want to vent out!
I am also with Denver and my interview is just scheduled. Mine will be around 10 months total. Legend says that if you lived in multiple states, the background check takes longer. Or it's just random, idk :)

For those waiting for a your oath swearing ceremony to be scheduled I will share my wife’s experience. They did not have time to process the removal of restrictions prior to her interview. This is her timeline:
Nov 30. She had and passed her citizenship test/interview
Dec 15. They combined her removal of restrictions and N400 process
Jan 19. They Scheduled her oath swearing ceremony
Feb 8. This is the date she has her oath ceremony scheduled for.
So, from the time they said she could be a citizen to officially becoming a citizen will be 70 day. A bit frustrating, but I wanted to share in case anyone else is waiting and wondering on the timeline. This is with the Chicago branch also. We are so happy to almost be done with the process!

No , I applied my n400 October 2020 my interview for biometric was only in august 2021, my interview September 2021.

I have the same mistake on my application and I almost feel it’s a glitch from their online filing system because I don’t remember answering the specific question of how many times have you been married? Only the question that says if I’ve been married before. Anyway, I’m glad it wasn’t a big deal for you and hoping it’s not for me other 😅

Congratulations. I applied my n-400 March 27, 2022 and my interview July 21,2022 and I passed. Super easy and fast. The officer he is super nice , I was done less than 10 mins of my interview. I applied base on 5 year rule. I am widowed my husband passed Jan 2022. Finally all the hard work studying is worth it. Waiting for my oath taking ceremony. Mag 10 years na ako dito sa US this coming August. Wala Sana ako plan mag us citizen pero sayang Naman if e give up ko tapos uuwi ng pinas. My late husband ayaw din Niya e give up ko Ang green card kaya I decided to apply last March.

I just submitted my i-175 last November 2021 and was told my application might took 24 months to process due to Covid and they told me to process my US citizenship this coming September.
CFO is for filipinos only not for US citizens or US passport holders

Congrats!!! so as I understood you become a US citizen the same day if you approved , they give you the certificate of naturalization that means you are a citizen? but then you have to apply for a US passport , how long is that going to take?
Passport it would take 4-8 weeks.. i have a video for my timeline you can check that out in one of my previous videos..

No singing. Yep it was a private oath ceremony
