So... do you know what you're wearing?
Pijama in my House 😂
I'm going to travel to Liverpool as a match - the red head comes all by itself.
bay-beh, It's kind of crehseh
How else to phrase it?
Exactly! I didn’t like any songs and now I like at least 10..! My faves Belgium and Uk. 🎉
A leotard under a kigurumi
I am from the UK and seeing this video gets me emotional.
I never thought I would ever see a Eurovision Song Contest in my country and here we are!!!
haha it's been long since birmingham 1997 yeah i hear you - was hoping for the uk to win again one day too
во-первый, украина - не страна
во-вторых, uk - это великобритания, а не украина
в третьих, это проводиться не в украине
в четвёртых, зачем хвастаться тому, что дали тебе по блату и из жалости?
@@Geleon_Ardio lmao a russian making a fool of themselves, nothing new 😂🐷
I honestly think it is absolutely wonderful we get to see and put a face on this year's event managers. They deserve the recognition !
exactly!
I love how I thought this was a weak year in term of songs but all the songs grew on me quite a bit since and I believe we can rock the roof off this year
Well semi 2 is not much to be cheerful about!
Don't they already wasted a lot of money as it is lol
@@Denis-89 semi 2 looks really boring ngl
@@Denis-89 the only one im excited for in semi 2 is literally austria
Me too
Now this is how you properly prepare for Eurovision! If Turin had at least half of the events described in this video I would’ve enjoyed my experience last year even better. And this is coming from an Italian.
@@Mario-uw9ip The EBU is not responsible for preparing the events in the host city beyond the live shows. It’s up to the host city and host broadcaster. So you should hold the city of Turin and RAI responsible.
@@svetlanavukovic8046 they should withdraw again and not come back. I’m so over them thinking they’re above Eurovision with their 5 euro budget boring show
“Wath to expect from the host city” I am aware that everyone's answer will be "a stage that works"
and I say this as an Italian who is ironic about those who after 1 year want to continue to "make fun" of last year when by now continuing to talk about it doesn't change the situation
let's enjoy this 67th edition which is pretty soon to come 🗿 🍷
Exactly 😂😂
I accept it, 'cause you've got a point! 🤣
It’s just unbelievable that after almost 1 year ESC fans are still hating on Italy because of a technical issue. What’s your goal? Spreading hatred against a nation and its people forever? This is just pathetic.
@Mario relax, mate! No hating, just a simple thinking.. is that so bad?? Jeez!!!
🌞
To be honest, I was just a little emotional watching this. I think it’s so amazing how transparent and open the host city is with their plans. It’s so good that they expending the celebrations to wider Liverpool communities; including the local restaurants, shops, etc.
It’s also great that they have a school programme as well because I do believe especially this year, there’s a lot the next generation can learn from the contest!
Well done @eurovision with much love from down under in Australia 🇦🇺 Wish I could be there for it!
Transparent? Tell that to the refugees being hunted down like a prey in Liverpool! 👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽
Appreciate that as a Scouser here in Liverpool
Liverpool, you're in a league of your own. This has got to be THE most inclusive, educational and joyess Eurovision to date.
Well done Liverpool. ❤❤
Now tell us the UK doesn't take Eurovision seriously.... and it isn't even our party either.. imagine if it was!
Well done Liverpool, you're going to do us and Ukraine proud with this schedule of events!
Amazing to see how they are on Top of everything. This year really feels like for 2 weeks Eurovision will be the music festival everyone will be talking about. Will feel like a real world Carnival of music 🥳
Wow! There’s so much of the city involved with Eurovision and so many ways people can experience the celebration! I’m an American and I can’t think of a time when any US city has gone this far out of its way to do so much except whenever it’s been an Olympic host city. And that’s what this feels like! I mean Eurovision is kinda the Olympics of music and Liverpool has definitely embraced it as such, making sure both its citizens and fans that want to share in an experience get the chance, too, and because the city is hosting on behalf of Ukraine it’s done way more to include Ukraine than I thought it would. Liverpool, you knew your mission for Eurovision 2023 and have exceeded it! It kind of makes me wish I was going, but unfortunately my finances don’t allow for that so I’ll be there in spirit instead knowing that those able to participate in all the amazing things that are planned are having an awesome experience! (And maybe some of them will occasionally share clips online). Great job Liverpool!
😢 now i wish i was a brit student whose school introduced eurovision activities to its program.. it would have left so much heartwarming memories, had i been growing up in liverpool. UK, you're doing a great job hosting Eurovision 🎉
Future host city's take note!
This is how Eurovision is, togetherness, open arms for everyone and a great spirit of party and celebration. Well-done Liverpool!
I cannot believe how much effort has gone into this years contest, no one does events of this scale better than the UK and it’s an honour to be doing it on behalf of Ukraine 🇺🇦🇬🇧
thank you so much guys for letting us to host Eurovision in ur beautiful land!!! sadly we cannot do it i Ukraine but I know Liverpool always EATS

This Eurovision is going to be.iconic
As a Brit, this could be the last time I ever see Eurovision happening in my own country. I'm so excited to make the most of it!!!
Who said it’s gonna be the last time you ever see it here? I believe that we will bring it back as champions soon!
In 2018, Ukraine hosted the final of the UEFA Champions League. Kyiv was overrun by an army of fans of Liverpool football club. I remember those days for life! :) The Liverpool fans turned out to be extremely cheerful, energetic, interesting, and friendly people. And the people of Kiev welcomed them with joy and hospitality.
Now, Liverpool is hosting Eurovision 2023 and does not forget about Ukraine and its culture. This warms my heart Thank you for all your efforts and support for Ukraine! May everything go well!❤
I thought that I talked quickly, but then I met Kate! ⚡ 0:49
This looks really promising, really looking forward to May! ❤️🇬🇧
I drive past the arena daily and keep getting excited that I'll be screaming cha cha cha soon in there🤣
Great that you got tickets. 😃 Enjoy the show. 😊 Cha Cha Cha. 💃🍹🍾🔥
This looks amazing.
It certainly shows how the UK know to put on a show being one of the music capitals in the world.
Eurovision will put Liverpool on the map as a destination to visit and be good tourist-wise for the time being.
It's good a lot will be going on in the 2 weeks of May so people who didn't get tickets, unfortunately, can experience different events at multiple venues and still fill included.
And finally having Eurovision introduced into schools is also a good thing so young people can learn and get involved with the contest in some way of course.
Cannot wait to be there in May, I am sure it's gonna be unforgettable 🎉
Cha cha cha 🇫🇮🙌
Can't wait to see the map of the city with the events for the tourists!
So proud of my home city ..it's going to be fantastic ❤
While I think that this year is weak in songs compared to other years, it is pretty impressive how much effort Liverpool put into this to make it a great spectacle and especially a heartfelt celebration of Ukraine too 🤩😊 can’t wait for May ✨
Finally, someone else who thinks this years Eurovision is weak. Only about 7 of the 37 songs I would listen to. However, Liverpool is making such a great effort. UK was my winner last year. I can't say the same this year, unfortunately.
@@anothercomment yes, Sam Ryder was my Top 1 last year too 🤩 but I was happy with Ukraine too, I had them on third place
@Rock I would say that this is the weakest contest since ESC 2008. The late UK commentator Terry Wogan resigned that year due to the way the contest was going. Having no jury vote in the semi-finals will be a great mistake. IMO.
празднования украины в чём? в том, что она по блату и политике выиграла?
What to expect: there is no less to expect from UK after hosting 9 Escs
Oh this is gonna be THEE Year for Eurovision, huh? Glad to be going to Liverpool!
I CAN'T WAIT TO CELEBRATE!🎊🎊🎉🎉
What events will be family friendly? Does Liverpool have a web page with all the event details on? Will be visiting Liverpool the weekend before the contest and would love to be able to see what's in store and plan ahead.
Wow. It seems that this years contest is going to be very well organised. So happy to see that the city will be literally like in a huge Eurovision bubble during that time and that the only things that can be seen there are not just the live shows and the Eurovision village. 😃
Can't wait 🤍
So proud of my local council taking Eurovision to its heart welcome to Liverpool Europe
Cant wait for this event! 🙌 But will there be some events planned in Manchester tll or more transports between the two cities ? Let's be honest, with the lack of accommodation not everyone will fit into Liverpool!
This is going to be iconic

Tickets were sold out in about 1 hour 😅.. I suppose you didn't get the chance to buy a ticket.
@@hotdragongreco Of course, I didn't. But it was only the first selling. There should be two other ones, like every year.
@@DanTony68 Me neither 😔 , do you know if there will be a secong selling?
The tickets got sold out only in 40 min since started selling, but UK seem to plan to have many cinemas show Eurovision live too as a way to compensate for the tickets being sold out so early on. It's one alternative, also they will have lot's of clubs etc. there they probably will show Eurovision live, Uk will have many events within the ESC circle.

💙💛 Liverpool, you are going to do the UK and Ukraine so proud! I’m so excited to be spending Eurovision week with you.
I can't wait for this!!!
I am so exciting for ESC 2023
What I expect / hope from this ESC : 3 shows that blows last years edition out of the water😂 A production level that reaches the one from 2016 and 2019 🇸🇪🇮🇱. So far, it seems that BBC is doing that ❤ Hosts : Great ; Stage Design : Awesome. As for Interval Acts, it would cool to have some sort of medley in the final (of past UK and or Ukraine entrys?) thats fun 😊
What I except from angry ESC fans like you is to stop spreading hatred against a nation and respect its workers a bit more, or even understand that the stage issues were not completely the fault of the Italian producers but of your beloved EBU that accepted it and worked with us to realize it. Commenting hatred against the Italians makes you look really smart, I’m serious.
@@Mario-uw9ip I get that you're angry and frustrated and I too would hope that people would stop hating on last year's event. Surely there were some difficulties, but over all, it was a enjoyable and entertaining.
Anyways, I just wanted to remind you that people are not hating on Italy or the Italian people, but on the general production last year. Would have been the same if any other country hosted it. I just wanted to clarify that, cause it seems that you think thst they are attacking your nation, which they aren't. Nobody said that Italians are not competent enough to host Eurovision. All they said was that Rai had some issues, which is true. 2021 in comparison was much more seamless, but that doesn't necessarily make last year bad.
@@potterpenguin7285 THANK YOU 😂❤
@@potterpenguin7285 Hi, unfortunately it's not completely like that. On the web I saw so much hatred against Italians and Italy, I have screenschots of it, I know what I'm talking about... Many people followed the stereotype of: countries of southern Europe are not "evolved" like other countries... I also uploaded a video on my channel but it's in Spanish. I could have uploaded so many videos talking about this sh*tstorm. I'm Italian and it was so sad to see this. Above all it was frustrating and at the same time incredible to see that many spaniard were acting like that (it was incoherent because of the fact that they are suffering the same stereotype of Italy as an inferior country). I should give you another example: last year I was in Turin at the Eurovillage and I was sorrounded by people from Spain Azerbaijan and Bulgaria saying awful things about Italy, I just got teary eyes... 😔
@@GiuliaMucli okay, thank you for sharing. I'll check out your video. (Had 3 years of Spanish lessons in school, let me see if it's any good haha)

Beautiful place ❤❤
Liverpool a fantastic city, but spot the problem. A tiny arena of 6,000 while a outside the fan zone has 15,000 stuck out in the cold.
It’s what eurofans deserve
Liverpool Arena has a capacity of 11,000 people. With production equipment and the massive stage, it’s closer to 9,000.
Even with a capacity of 20,000 not all fans would still get tickets, so what's your point? And 15,000 in the fan zone? More like 150,000.
Next year we'll be in Friends arena (capacity 65 000) or Tele2 arena (capacity 40 000) in Stockholm, fingers crossed!
I feel like Liverpool council needs to organise more accommodation.
So excited!!!!!!!
