@@777edge ok thanks for the upload, if you could come up with something that prevents the wobble when I attach the handgrip to the platform of the KME I would definitely buy that
@@jimmar9847 I designed a wobble free tapered pivot for the KME wood base. It simply replaces the original pivot. Gritomatic sells them. www.gritomatic.com/products/le-series-tapered-pivot-for-wooden-base-of-kme
I actually have one, and Gritomatic.com will be selling it soon. These upgrades are based on my original Leading Edge sharpening system, so the large blade and scissors accessories and adapters work on my standalone system and on all of my core upgrades for various sharpening systems.
There are no Hapstone jaws or clamp bar shown in this specific video. In another video I have a set of them installed on the KME. Gritomatic might have unreleased stock that they can provide. Give them a shout here: www.gritomatic.com/pages/contact-us
How do you think the new "toohr" sharpener on aliexpress compares to something like the kme? Rigidity, durability, precision/repeatability?They seem to be in a similar price range.
I received my red anodized TooHR sharpener a few weeks ago and I have to say, I'm impressed with it. I got the version with the 2x separate clamps and slidable rear post. It needed some work tightening nuts and bolts and lubing everything up, but it's great after doing this. Bonus, is that it accepts TSPROF K03 and Kadet clamps readily, and Hapstone R2 clamps with a Gritomatic Gearconnect adapter. It's still not as good as Hapstone or TSProf sharpeners, but it's the best out of China so far.
Can’t see how it’s better then the original KME but to each their own I guess
It complements and expands the capabilities of the KME system.

You need your own sharpening system!! If it was priced to compete with the worksharp precision adjust I'd definitely get one
