How to Setup Your Gas Pressure Washer

Learn how to start and stop your electric pressure washer. While your machine may look slightly different than the pressure washer being demonstrated, the same steps can be followed. This video is for informational purposes only and it is not a replacement for reading and fully understanding your operator’s manual. Please read your operator’s manual before operating. Be sure to wear proper personal protective equipment, including closed toe shoes, long pants, shirt, safety glasses and ear protection.
Start with a good, non-leaking garden hose. Check inlet screen for debris before connecting your garden hose, then connect the high-pressure hose to the outlet connector. Next step: connect your high-pressure hose to your spray gun. When turning your water source on, purge the air from the pump and hose. Now it’s time to choose your best nozzle for your task.
To start your machine, move the fuel lever to the ON position. Move the choke lever to the CLOSED position. Be sure the throttle lever is at the MAX position. Turn the engine switch to the ON position. Pull the handle grip on the recoil starter lightly until you feel resistance, then pull briskly. Do not allow the handle grip to snap back against the engine; return it gently to prevent damage. Gradually move the choke lever to the OPEN position as the engine warms up. Pull the spray gun trigger to begin water flow. Start several feet back from any job, and ease your way into it so that you are sure not to cause any damage. Use continuous movement while you are working; holding the nozzle too close or letting it remain in one spot can cause damage to the surface.

Your pressure washers are absolute garbage! Customer service number options are all over the place and send you straight to a repair shop. Ive used HD supply washer machines with less PSI and it worked wonders unlike these simpson pressure washers. Safe to say ill stay away from simpson for a long time. Thanks for taking my money and time.
