I love how Practical Brother Costi is, he's not saying The Lord doesn't want to heal, or do it, just that we must see the priority and the big picture. Let's keep the main thing, the main thing, salvation and eternity with God.
I love how the Lord works. I have a friend who follows NAR teachings. Just yesterday I sent her 1 Peter 2 to show the verse By His wounds you have been healed. Clearly this is spiritual healing by the forgiveness of our sins. Not physical healing of our bodies. Now I can send your video and affirm what I showed her yesterday. When we rightly divide the word of God, the truth of scripture shines, and we can discern the error of false teachers.
Amen! “Your righteousness, O God, reaches to the highest heavens. You have done such wonderful things. Who can compare with you, O God? You have allowed me to suffer much hardship, but you will restore me to life again and lift me up from the depths of the earth. You will restore me to even greater honor and comfort me once again.” Psalms 71:19-21
I love this, it’s what I have come to realize. I have a cousin who is a pastor and he is so into Bill Johnson. I have tried to talk to him but he is dogmatic. It’s ironic he is really against legalism but this is like it.
Hey Costi I think you missed 4th point. After 3rd point it's showing 5th point. But thank you so much for this podcast videos and this important topic on God's will. God bless you brother and use you more to speak the truth.
To your point of how healing will take place for sure in the hereafter, I don't disagree that we will not take sickness to heaven, but quote for me book chapter and verse where someone approached Jesus for healing and Jesus told them I'm not going to heal you now, but you'll get yours on the other side. If Jesus didn't tell people that, then why are you?
The simple answer to this, is the answer to the question, is it always God's will to "save" you? Is it? Seems pretty clear that it is. So hat does "sozo", saved, mean? There you have it.
You said you can't tell a person that if you have enough faith God will heal them, yet God Himself said, "nothing is impossible to the one who believes." Now, who is right and who is wrong? You or God?
In Jesus ministry it is clear He healed everyone who came to Him for hiling. Never ever He said "it is not God's will to heal you". Nobody in New Testament ever asked such question "Is the will of God to heal somebody?".
@@audyharrison look at Jesus ministry. There are a myrid of reasons the christian is not healed ... but it doesnt change the fact that whoever came to Jesus or who had faith ... like the centeriuons soldier... who didnt come to Jesus but Jesus spoke the word ... was healed.
Jesus healed some people who did not know who He was. They didn't use their faith to be healed. At the pool of Bethesda, Jesus only healed one person. Paul left Trophimus sick. He didn't tell Timothy to declare his healing, but to take a little wine. I believe Costi talked about these things in this video. When I was in the Charasmatic, Word of Faith churches, we were told that everyone should be healed. It was very burdensome. A careful study of Scripture shows that suffering, sickness, and pain can be for our good. Yes, God still heals, but not at our will, at His.
Those who love God with all their heart, mind, and soul… …will listen to every word of Jesus for they come from the Father (John 12:48-50). They are no longer blind to God's word but the truth has been revealed to them by His Holy Spirit (John 14:26). We know without doubt Jesus came to testify of the Father and to finish His work (John 4:34). We believe when Jesus said to the Father “you are the only true God” (John 17:3), or that the Father has given him life (John 5:26). Loving the Father is receiving all Jesus said to us and to do so without changing his word in any way or agreeing with things of the world (e.g., claiming Jesus Is God and blaspheming the Father). We only listen to the words of Jesus, not by picking random versus to prove Jesus is God. “But to us there is but *one God, the Father,* of whom are all things, and we IN him; and *one Lord Jesus Christ,* by whom are all things, and we BY him.” (1 Corinthians 8:6)

Costi, can you show me one man that came to Jesus and ask for healing and didn't get it? Did the story of Bethezda says that the people there asked Jesus to be healed and he refused them? Why only the paralitic? Because olny him could not walk from there to meet Jesus and he said: ,,I have nobody to put me into the pool" so Jesus came to him. All the other metioned at the pool could have left and meet Jesus in Jerusalem but they prefered to stay there waiting for the angel. So the healing of only the paralitic is not a proof of Jesus choosing who to heal and who not to heal. Secondly is the fact that Jesus had a program in his ministry and left without healing all a proof that he didn't want to heal all. Thirdly you said that believing is not enought for healing. You contradict Jesus that said in Mark 9:23 And Jesus said to him, "'If You can!' All things are possible to him who believes." Keep studing!
Paul's life clearly shows that Can't wait for the people to say "Paul didn't have enough faith" as if he wasn't the guy who blessed handkerchiefs that healed those who touched them... he was an apostle specially chosen by Jesus Himself and endowed with great faith and miraculous sign and wonders
Yes, it is ALWAYS God's Will To Heal! Healing is part of the Covenant in Christ. It is ALWAYS God's Will for people to be Saved but do we conclude that because many are not Saved that it isn't His Will? Do we look around and say, see if it was God's Will for people to be Saved then why aren't they? The same answer as to why they're not Saved is the same answer that many are not healed. BELIEF! The question is asked, if Jesus wanted to heal everyone then why didn't he heal everyone there at the pool of Bethesda. Well then why can't we ask the same question of Salvation? If Jesus wanted everyone to be saved or to hear the Gospel then why didn't he preach it there to all those sick people at the pool of Bethesda either? In fact, there's no indication that he preached the Gospel to the man he healed as well and not only that, the man didn't even know who it was that healed him. As for Timothy, if it wasn't God's will for Timothy to be healed then why did Paul even tell him to drink wine for it? Why tell him anything? The one thing you'll always notice about Jesus healing was that it was never the same. Why did Jesus tell his disciple to HEAL the SICK if it wasn't Gods will for the sick to be healed? (Luke 9:1) As for Trophimus, what of it? We're going to create a whole doctrine around this one situation? Really? And just IGNORE the revelation of God's Word about His Will for us to be healed? The point is some of those details are left out but what of it? These are supposed to somehow "prove" that is ISN'T God's Will for us to be healed? How? The Bible is clear that it is God's Will for us to be healed otherwise WHY would Jesus heal ANYONE at ALL? Guys, sickness is part of the CURSE that we as God's Children are NO LONGER UNDER! (Galatians 3:13) Because Jesus BECAME the CURSE FOR US! Read the Curse in Deuteronomy 28. Notice it includes sickness and disease. But when you read the BLESSING there is NO Sickness and disease included. The problem with so many Christians is that they don't BELIEVE their own Bibles they rather put faith in what THEY SEE or DON'T SEE. In other words, "well I had an aunt Susie who believed and she died". Ok, sorry about that but how does that "Negate" clear Bible revelation? We walk by FAITH and NOT by "sight". That's like saying, "well I preached the Gospel to aunt Susie and told her about Jesus but she was never saved." Ok, sorry about that too but how does that "Negate" clear Bible revelation that it's God's Will that aunt Susie be saved? We can't use "Physical" examples to either "prove" or "disprove" God's Word. But that's what you guys are doing. Or your using other ministers, and I agree some are quirky, as a reason to believe healing is not God's Will for us. We can't do that. We need to go to the Word of God for our answers and walk by FAITH (BELIEF) NOT by "sight". Don't believe me or anyone else but look at the verses I merely pointed to and see if for yourselves and the Holy Spirit will confirm it in your hearts. But if you keep looking at "Physical" or "Fleshly" examples instead of clear Bible revelation or worse using any "Physical" example to some how "corroborate" God's Word or using your own "human" reasoning around said verses, you'll be led to error. . Jesus said he came to do the WILL OF THE FATHER and he CLEARLY displayed that will when he went around HEALING ALL who came to him. That is the truth! (Acts 10:38) Notice in that verse that the culprit behind sickness is the Devil NOT GOD! (Luke 13:16) Just because you've either never experienced healing or saw someone else get healed or any other "Physical" example does NOT negate the TRUTH that It IS God's Will for His Children to Be Healed, so says your Bible!
@@audyharrison Ok, well then if a person goes to hell because they don't BELIEVE in Jesus as Savior is that harsh too? However, I get what you're saying but what we need to understand is that we have a HELPER, The Holy Spirit. He can help us even BELIEVE through God's Word. Yes, it can be very difficult to believe when you're feeling the pain, the symptoms and discomfort. I get that. But what we also need to get is that God will help us even when we struggle with Believing or our Faith. Remember the gentlemen with the possessed son who'd throw himself into a fire or water and he asked Jesus to HELP HIM even with his "unbelief"? God will still do that for us now. But before we can even believe we need to know the TRUTH that it IS God's Will for us to be healed, completely. Because the devil is the one who's trying to make us believe that it's GOD, not the devil, who is trying to STEAL our health. The devil is the THIEF NOT GOD. Unfortunately you have so many Christians who, like this gentlemen, trying to tell us that it's NOT God's Will to heal all the time. But they always use "PHYSICAL" examples to prove it and NOT Bible Revelation. Or it's always the man at the pool of Bethesda, or Timothy, or Trophimus and even the Apostle Paul that they like to point to in the Bible as "evidence" that it isn't God's Will. I've already addressed some of those. But YOU need to address this for yourselves. Let me ask you all some simple questions. Are we not NOW under a BETTER Covenant than the OLD? If God promised those under the Old Covenant HEALING on the bases of their obedience HOW MUCH MORE toward us on the bases of JESUS Obedience? Think about that. Why would God even INCLUDE Healing or Health in the promise if it wasn't HIS WILL for us to live in Health and Healing? Or, how about finding example where God or Jesus CLEARLY tell us that "sometimes" God will heal and "sometimes" He won't. They don't exist. In Psalm 103 verse 3 God combines BOTH forgiveness of sins AND the HEALING of our diseases. In Jeremiah 30:17 God tells us that He WILL heal our wounds AND RESTORE our Health. THAT'S what you find in God's Word. NOTHING about, well God will heal "sometimes". Sin brought the curse which brought disease. Jesus took AWAY our SINS AND therefore He also took away disease. "Well then why do Christians get diseases?" Yeah, I hear you. That is the enemy trying to STEAL your health it's NOT GOD making you sick. BELIEVE that GOD WANTS YOU WELL! You all need to first know it is HIS WILL for us to be in health, ALL THE TIME. If you can't believe at least that then how can you believe for it to manifest in your body? When Jesus was on earth he healed ANYONE who came to him. You won't find NOT ONE example of him turning anyone down or saying something like, well, my Father doesn't want you healed now, or it's not your "time" to be healed, etc. NOTHING like that exists. IF you can start RENEWING your mind in God's Word that speaks of His WILL for you to be healed and with the help of the Holy Spirit get that revelation of TRUTH in your heart, you'll see it even BEFORE you receive your healing. We don't "see" heaven but we BELIEVE and KNOW with ALL OUR HEART that's it's our home. Remember the prayer, many refer to as "The Lord's Prayer"? Listen closely to what Jesus says, Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, THY Kingdom come, THY WILL BE DONE ON EARTH AS IT IS IN HEAVEN..." Did you catch that. Are there sick people, angels, spirits etc. that are "SICK" in heaven? Well if the answer is NO, then the WILL OF HEAVEN SHOULD BE ON EARTH TOO, and that includes HEALTH and HEALING. Jesus said, they WILL be done (WHERE?) ON EARTH, (AS WHAT?) As it is IN HEAVEN. Guys, the devil is lying to you. He's trying to make God responsible for sickness. But God is NOT responsible for making you sick, He's trying to tell you the TRUTH that HE WANTS YOU WELL! That Jesus ALSO DIED, not ONLY for your sins but ALSO for the fruits of sin which includes sickness. If you can just get your minds renewed to the truth of that, then you can start asking God to help you RELEASE what He's ALREADY put inside of you and that is HEALTH. I realize some of this may be hard to wrap your head around. I just encourage you, look into this yourselves. Look at what Jesus did. Read every verse you can find in God's Word about health and healing. Read them, pray over them, as God your Father about them and the TRUTH will set you FREE. Hang in there, God is FOR YOU and NOT AGAINST YOU! Peace
Sorry. This sounds like Word of Faith theology that i grew up in. I will have to disagree. Telling hurting people that they just need to believe harder, confess more, and pray harder is not what Scriptures teaches. We are told that Christians will suffer, and we can have faith that whatever comes, He is with us. And even if He chooses not to heal, He is still good.
@@audyharrison Friend, why does it matter what it "sounds" like, Word of Faith or otherwise, if it's THE TRUTH? God's Word is True whether people believe it or not. Don't allow your heart to harden because of a negative experience, you need to know the truth about healing from God's Word. As for the suffering you mentioned, let me ask, did Jesus tell us that we would suffer sickness or disease? Where? Do you have some scripture to support that? If not, then what are you basing this on? Or how about this question, did Jesus suffer sickness and disease himself before the cross? Then if we're to suffer like Jesus did then how does that suffering include something he NEVER suffered himself before the cross??? Why not just find every verse that speaks of healing and health in God's Word and see it for yourself? It's all there but if you're allowing "experiences" good or bad determine what the Word "means" then you'll miss it. Why not start with Proverbs 4:20-22 Peace
Also, you made the statement that Christ cannot be forced to heal by a person having faith, you're completely confused! It is not a matter of Christ being forced to heal by faith, Christ said that if you have faith and believe and do not doubt, what you have asked for would be granted. Christ said this!!!! Mark 11:24 24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.
How is targeting one person at the pool of Bethesda proof that it is not God's will to offer healing to all? Jesus didn't heal the man at the gate beautiful. So, because Jesus walked past the man at the gate beautiful can we then conclude that it wasn't God's will for that man to be healed? Of course not! Peter and John will come by that same gate, after Jesus had ascended into heaven, and set that man completely free. Therefore, your argument on this point utterly falls apart.
Your next argument about why Paul didn't heal Timothy a trophimus is likewise weak. It's not a coincidence that both of these ailing men were ministers as well. The Bible says to whom much is given much is required. Paul understood that they needed to exercise their own faith as leaders.
Your next argument about how Jesus went to another town rather than go to the town where people were looking for Him, is also weak. It is abundantly clear throughout the New testament that Jesus was not here to do all of the Kingdom work that needed to be done. This is why he told his disciples it's beneficial that he go away.
Your next argument about Jesus not healing people in his hometown is also an extremely weak argument. Jesus didn't heal people in His hometown because they REJECTED Him; that's clearly established in the story.
Jesus himself said it was a failure to believe when his disciples could not cast The demon out of a young boy. Sir, I'm not really sure what Bible you're reading, but you're twisting all of these stories and these accounts up.
Your next argument about how Faith doesn't produce healing well Faith produce healing for the woman with the issue of blood and also Faith produce healing for the centurion believing for his servant. Sorry I'm going to believe the Bible before I believe you.
It is not fare Costi that you put all people that pray for healing in the same basket with the crooks that sell the blessing of God for money. This is condamnation by asociation and is not ok at al You cannot use somebody's wrong practice as an argument against Scripture.

Just because you've either never experienced healing or saw someone else get healed or any other "Physical" example does NOT negate the TRUTH that It IS God's Will for His Children to Be Healed, so says your Bible!
PREACH IT!
So, if a Christian has cancer, heart disease, cerebral palsy, etc...they just don't have enough BELIEF to be healed? That's harsh.
Why not start with Proverbs 4:20-22
Peace
Also, you made the statement that Christ cannot be forced to heal by a person having faith, you're completely confused! It is not a matter of Christ being forced to heal by faith, Christ said that if you have faith and believe and do not doubt, what you have asked for would be granted. Christ said this!!!!
Mark 11:24
24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.
