Hola Haden.. excelente anatomía y tallado. que tipo de pincel usas para montar la porcelana..? Es sintético o pelo kolinski.. Si es sintético que marca es..? Gracias🙂
Hi, Luis! I use Takanishi synthetic brush #5 in this video. I usually use #5 for posterior and #4 for anterior, also I use # 5 kolinsky brush for big bridges when I need to apply a lot of porcelain because it can hold and distribute adequate amounts of moisture
Hi, Ed! I think it’s ok to build a crown up to 20 minutes as long as you keep the moisture level adequate and it doesn’t dry out on the model. It usually takes me 5-7 minutes per unit if I am not filming myself and about 10-12 minutes if I am filming
Hi, Ede! I honestly don’t know - never tried it myself. I always use the buildup liquid that comes with the porcelain kit. I’m currently using Initial MC liquid. I have heard that some technicians add glaze liquid to their porcelain buildup, but I have no experience with that
Hi! Thank you😊 I don’t usually polish before glaze, I do sometimes polish lightly after glaze around margins and mesial and distal lobes of my crowns with blue Cera glaze disc and also felt wheel with some diamond paste
Hi! In case of not enough clearing you can either grind the opposing tooth on the model and mark it for dentist to know where the adjustment was made or make a crown with metal stop or metal occlusion. Also a reduction coping can be made with dentist’s approval😉😊
We are learning alot from you please keep sharing your experience like this

hi! Vera. What is the name of the 3d printer company that makes the models you use these days?
Hi, I’m not sure, maybe desktop health or something like that
Is it ok to add Glycerol and distilled water mix to the ceramic

Awesome useful video again! Can you write a bit about, how you work out the crown before glazing, only with diamond burs or also polishers? Thank you.
