In honor of the upcoming Dead By Daylight / Silent Hill DLC expansion, I thought I'd take the opportunity to sequalize one of my favorite animations on the channel. Unlike the original (and the DBD DLC) this new animation pits Pyramidhead against his rightful nemesis and progenitor, the one and only James Sunderland. As a result, this animation contains HEAVY spoilers for Silent Hill 2. But seriously, you've had nearly 20 years to play it. So at this point, that's really on you, isn't it?

The fact you added the “Little Baroness Tug Boat” and the final demon boss just shows how much love went into the details of even the most obscure spin-off of actual cannon lore of silent hill 2! Bravoo!! 👏👏👏

Now James you know that's not fair. Pyramid Head didn't fail Konami. Konami failed Pyramid Head. And he actually fits in pretty well in Dead by daylight. He's pretty fun.

And fans familiar with Silent Hill 2 said "Wrong survivor. It should have been James. Pyramidhead never interacted with Heather." So I animated James and now fans who are only familiar with Dead By Daylight say "Wrong survivor. It should have been Heather." Yay Internet.
@@JamesFarrOfficial two years ago I commented on that one too. Loved it then, love it now. Pyramid Head is a staple of Silent Hill now, he's not exclusively tied to just James' guilt. And two years from now when you animate Pyramid Head wrecking shop on that jerk from Origins, I'll be right here, with one of these👍.
@CYAN REVENANT Cheryl (I'm not calling her Heather) is in Silent Hill 1 and 3, so it makes sense for her to be in DBD over James.
also in DBD the Entity can probe people's minds, most likely it probed James mind, found out about Pyramid Head and then manifest him in its realm so other survivors can see him

@@JamesFarrOfficial then again, that's not saying much as Konami in that amount of time churned out a shitty redubbed version of the original second and third games because they evidently lost the source code to what was considered *one of the best games of the PS2 era and arguably the most popular horror game ever released!* then they decided to put all their chip into mobile games and gambling and seemed to make decisions that would actively make fans of their games angry before begrudgingly getting up off their fat asses and attempt to make more games and somehow trip all over their feet in the process.... and so now copies of this game that has been fucking neglected by their developer so they can go huff glue run up to $300... Just... *fuck konami*

I hope so. Silent Hill is my favorite horror series. I also hope someday we can get a good HD collection or remake.

I'm delighted to see this summary of what Pyramid Head did in SH2 as a Cuphead animation. It makes sense that he has infinite HP because the only way battles with him end is when PH himself decides to. He's a juggernaut. I also appreciate the small details like the appearance of the other SH2 characters such as Laura and Eddie. You've made it rather adorable. Never would I have imagined Abstract Daddy to be animated as a cartoon pile of mush on a frame with legs. I wonder what would Masahiro Ito think if he sees this?

I love the fact that you managed to put so much of SH2 lore and details in this video that i consider this hands own one of the best animations about that game i've seen so far

Amazing job. I never played Cuphead game but I know what it's about. The song was perfect to introduce it as parody of SH2 plot and more than anything I loved the very detailed aesthetic displayed along the clip, the buildings with their respective locations and names, the secret church at the middle of Toluca lake and of course the little reference of SH Arcade, everything looks so cool.
I hope to see in the future another SH Cuphead version, maybe SH1 & SH3 combined in one single story. :)

You know what I don't understand: people like myself enjoy these videos of games done in the style of Cuphead, but when someone makes an actual game in that style like with Enchanted Portals, that game gets bashed for being a rip off!
Well I think it’s because enchanted portals is a licensed game and people are hypocrites that don’t realise it doesn’t matter.
