  • Happy Sunday everyone! And an early St. Patrick’s Day as well! For today and to start this month’s new series on green vacuum cleaners, I thought I’d break out one of my all time favorite machines, the Bison Mark 2! This interesting machine was meant to be a Kirby crusher, but instead lead to more advancements in the industry. I hope you all enjoy the video and don’t forget to like, comment, and subscribe!

    I just love how it manages to be incredibly ugly AND incredibly beautiful at exactly the same time!

    That’s a cool machine I don’t think I’ve ever seen in use. It sounds like a tornado siren winding up when you turn it on.

    Very cool backstory of the Bison MI & demo - especially the buffing wheelI & it's so awesome that you'd wanted one since your childhood & finally got one - congrats! I like how your sweatshirt matches it, too. :) It's interesting that Bison selected a similar avocado green color to the Kirby DS80. There is a scanned1968 Bison users manual available for purchase at Automatic Ephemera in case you're interested. It may feature the Mark I. Thanks, Karl, for an informative green vac vid - tis kind of ya, lad!

    Yes bison used a general electric motor that's why it's so high speed but the bad thing is that kirby did sue bison because one of the workers that used to work at kirby made bison a little identical to kirby so the kc sued them and they went out of business and I also think royal the maker of dd did go in competition with the kirby company

      The major issue Kirby did not like was that Bisons had a removable floor head, that was the major thing they sued over

    Does your headlight lense go all the way down?

    • @Konstellation_Karl_55
      @Konstellation_Karl_55  Місяць тому

      It can if I push it down, but it slowly comes back up, so I let it rest where it’s at so that it doesn’t break.

      @@Konstellation_Karl_55 I have the Mark three and a tool Cady, but unfortunately I could only find a centurion hose, it works great, though my rheostat does not work because the circuit board has a blown resistor, so it only has full power
