Other than the Shawngela disrespect (which is a big thing to me), I absolutely hated how GMW treated Angela like she was "A Problem" and was never their friend throughout High School and College. Angela cared a lot about those dumbasses and was super supportive of them, esp Topanga when she and Corey broke up, but with the way GMW was written you would never know that. Plus it's not like she had multiple episodes to even explain how they got that way, so the whole thing just feels very sloppy, unfinished and grossly out of character. I shouldn't be surprised bc GMW felt sloppy and underdone with confusing character motivations but still how embarrassing 🙄
GMW doesn’t exist to me due to how they did my girl Angela and Shawn too. And hearing about her treatment behind the scenes, glad the actor for Shawn was nice to her. Disappointed by the rest of the cast tho who participated in that Karen behavior.
"Why can't we be Corey and Topanga?" Idk, because you two are actually the better couple? Angela was the fucking best and what did Trina get for it? Exclusions and constant microagressions. Also where tf did you find all these funny ass clips jfc
They were always the better ship like no comparisons. And I agree she deserved better than how she was treated but I’m glad her and the cast are better 🤍
END GAME. I just pretend like Angela left to be with her dad, and when she came back (BECAUSE SHE DID😤), they got back together and had an even stronger relationship before and were end game…. CAUSE THEY ARE. That is the only correct ending to their relationship.
