Amen. In Texas, it isn't about rings. it's common law. This means a guy you slept with 2 years ago who lied about being married can now tell people that you are his wife and keep you from dating. You wouldn't really be his wife if he was married when you stayed with him. or if he did not live with you anymore. Likewise, a woman could do the same and take a man's car or home because he allowed her to sleep over the weekend at his place. Now gender prejudices are awful, so it could be a man taking resources or a woman trying to lock down a man who is tired of her, but people I talked to say the man wants to impair dating nearly 100% of the time even if he doesn't want the woman anymore.

My first husband made it very clear that he was still in love with his ex-girlfriend . He would often visit her when her husband was at work.
Was I upset? Yes. Was I angry? Yes. So, what did I do about it? Wrote my Mom about my situation. Mom called me, said don't worry about it and sent me a one way plane ticket back home. Once back home, I filed for divorce. Problem solved.

I find that people that hurt or kill another for not returning their feelings is a sick sense of entitlement. It hurts when you like someone that doesn't feel the same but I really don't comprehend how they completely overlook that their obsession does not want them. Losing an “ideal” partner to someone who is a better match in not unusual, it happens all the time. However, as you beautifully put, her personality traits made her unable to deal with the defeat.
This case exemplifies how flexibility and some humility can help people withstand life’s failures and potentially prevent criminal activity.

Kendra was the “ideal.” Brenda saw this, and thought that the way to hurt her ex would be to destroy the very thing he adored. By destroying Kendra, Brenda thought that she could get her ex to hurt like she did. This happens when people focus on the hurt of the breakup rather than what was good while they were together. I also think the abortion had a part in this. If Brenda was coaxed or felt forced to do it in order to keep him, then his leaving her hurt doubly. She probably told herself that had she went ahead and had the baby, she would have at least had a tie to him. She’d have en excuse to be around in his life. Her ex probably saw how this would affect his future plans, and that he’d be tied to her whether he wanted to or not. Hence he had an extreme motive to step Brenda in the direction of an abortion. I think it all plays together. Too bad Kendra had to pay the price. Maybe women out there should ask their potential mates if they have had any “bad romances,” before getting involved with them. Thats my analysis.

Another podcaster talked about how great Ricki's family was, he was very close to them. They all disliked Brenda's lack of character and pushed him to break it off. Brenda & Ricki began fighting about this, it actually led to his breaking it off with her. Agree 100% with you about her regretting the abortion. Not out of any compassion she may have had for the child, she's too narcissistic for that. Rather a regret that she'd been foolish enough to squander a bargaining chip.

    1) You suggest that she was dealing with a feelings of being unfairly treated because of of what she was essentially was born with .. this is a pretty strong motivator for criminality.
    2) Not enough can be said for not fooling around with something as serious sex, there's a reason people mate for life. Mature or immature, regardless. It's really a part of our lizard brain selves, if you will. You can't just fool around, don't give a flying cow what your Ivy league, mega author mentor or friend says on relationships. The fact that Brenda didn't give herself away to Ricky or her family is particularly chilling, because it probably wouldn't have taken much to prevent her from getting to Kendra if they knew.... the way she was so blatantly searching for someone to do the murder almost feels like a part of her psyche _wanted_ to get caught before she could do it. A promise ring is fine when you're 10. When you are older, you should expect a engagement ring and know a promise ring is a ruse to keep you availlable whilst the man is keeping his options open. Well that wasn't so nice of him, was it? She has maybe gotten a little bit in overdrive but that being unaware of her fondness for him, is a bit too convenient and I don't believe for one moment he's such a clueless and dimwitted individual. I suspect that was more of an act. If he didn't see it, others surely will have. And if you are such an idiot to think a woman you've dated and made plans with to take her down the isle will always have problems or resentments against you for not making that dream come true. However much she denies it, being just friends after that is as improbable of Elvis still being alive. You know when something sounds too good to be true? It usually isn't. Most of my friends would give the Baby up for Adoption; however, I know that some of the Women who went to Boarding School and, the ones who I attended the University with will Abort.
You see in situations when a Woman is " SLUMMING" with a Low Value Man, and she Accidentally gets Pregnant that can be a MAJOR dynamic 🤷🤷🤷!!
She does not want his Prototype growing inside her; and, she doesn't want to have to deal with the Low Value Man for the next 18 years!!!
In this PARTICULAR video....we see that this particular Gentleman is considered to be a High Value Man; therefore, I can come to the CONCLUSION that she would not Abort his " seed".
NOW.....do YOU see Women aborting babies from: NFL, NBA, NHL, and from the Entertainment Industry???????
Did Salma Hayek? Did Steven Tyler girlfriend??
Do a survey for yourself with other Women and you WILL see for yourself 🤷🤷
      Carpe Diem 😇

@@ToyotaGuy1971 ALSO Sir, remember the controversy surrounding Padma Lakshmi??
If you can remember she was told by her Doctor 🏥 that she could NEVER have 🍼🍼 babies. Well by the Miracle of God 🙏 her Womb healed and she got Pregnant by the Billionaire Adam Dell.
The Pregnancy was considered high Risk; however, Padma Lakshmi went ahead with the pregnancy.
The comments from the Regular Average Joe was shocking!!!! For some odd reason they could not come to terms that God answered her prayers 🙏💯!! They wanted to be the FATHER of her children. She just happened to get pregnant by someone who is " Top Dog" . 🤷🤷
You see.... She is what a lot of Men would love to have as a Mother of their CHILD. Sadly, only Top Tier Men have Access to Women like herself.
Steven Bing and Liz Hurley: another example. The Grandfather wanted Liz Hurley to Abort; she stated " I want my Baby"and I LOVE Steve Bing!
Read up on both of the cases.
      Carpe Diem 😇

It's amazing how many people were aware that she was stalking him, yet didn't do anything. There have been many cases of women who have refused to let go, often ending up with someone dead. Jodi Arias is a prime example of this.

I'm glad Brenda was cautious and selective about who she dated. I mean, there are a lot of unstable, dangerous sickos out there.

    Dr grande:
The ring version of playing house. It's good to hear this because it is what it is here and it's nice to hear a man saying it like it is and not always siding with their own gender. I see a lot of that over the years.

I can't verify this, but I've heard that Dr. Ricky went into a sort of isolation after this whole thing. But he emerged pretty well, after inventing the Ring Doorbell. He's been very successful with that.
