The Best Ian Brodie ,,, I understand Ian Brodie writes the most beautiful songs I have ever heard ,,,The Lighting Seeds is my favorite band ..and has been for many many years.
From night skies dressed in clouds Morning came, your taste in my mouth I like the way that your hair falls down in your eyes And you blush when you smile When sleep combs your side then far away flies I love the way that you stare when the sleep fills your eyes So yesterday has gone Who knows, tomorrow may bring all we'll desire Tomorrow brings the sun Kiss the world with fingers crossed I've kissed the world with fingers crossed I've been praised I've been cursed I've been blamed And I've won And I've lost On waves that fill your heart The future glides I hope the serpents in the tide Are all gone What's done is done A song for no one's in my hand A song they'll never understand Til I have gone And tomorrow brings the sun
There's Four Winds released in 2009, though Ian Broudie himself has said that he doesn't really consider it a true Lightning Seeds album. A new one has also just been announced.

Is that Hatfield?
This was from 2004 so they haven’t been seen since or made a song for 16 years now
They released an LP in 2009. Four Winds.

As good as any McCartney accoustic song! - :)
don't be silly now....
i agree robbie! both are from liverpool
I'd agree with that and it comes as no surprise that they're both from Liverpool.
Reminds me more of Simon & Garfunkel. All three are great artists of course.
anyone else here from its coming home?
:)
حزين هههه
I can’t believe this video has less views than my whole channel
Song's very similar to his old song "Pure".
No it isn't. It really isn't. This is far more folk whereas Pure was unadulterated sunshine pop. Rhe only thing that links them is Ian Broudie.
@@DavidLPeel Hah! Tell that to someone who has no ears, poser.
@@obscuraapit What makes me a poser? If you have a lack of appreciation that reflects poorly on you.
@@DavidLPeel Are you aware that songs can be similar regardless of the genre? If you are than you're a poser for the comment you made.
