You just saved the python experience for me. I was used to java and matlab. When i started setting up python yesterday i was so confused... Nothing was working at all. You helped me out a lot
This is exactly what I needed. Thank you!
Faith in humanity restored. Thank you!
I'm very new to this. Your directions worked perfectly. Thank you very much
Glad it helped!
Thanks, really needed this.
Glad it helped!
thanks it worked for me
Thanks so much🌹
THANK YOU. I have been searching for a fix to the error: "Could not fetch URL... problem confirming the ssl certificate", which would come up when trying to install flask or upgrade pip. I learned that all I needed to do was set the system interpreter to Anaconda, and I could then use Anaconda to upgrade pip etc.
Thank Alot man
Thanks a lot
Even the tutorial makes mistakes and glosses over stuff and says "well mine is already setup". Why is there not an actual resource that walks you from A to B to use Pycharm with an Anaconda distribution on Windows?
Because you have 2mb ram in your............
Brain
Thanks! It works here! =)
perfect
Why we select python.exe file in python interpreter instead of conda environment?
Did you get an answer to this question ? I am wonderingt he same, plus I cannot locate python.exe in anaconda3
@@YT-yt6zq I didn't get an answer, but i successfully setup PyCharm with anaconda environment, for that you do one thing, when you create new project, simply select exiting environment and in that locate conda python.exe file
Thank you very much for the info, however i still have problems accessing to library installed in anconda & when i choose the interpreter automatically refers to another path? Can you clarify plz ?
This course is my most up-to-date instruction on this topic. I hope it will help: geospatialschool.com/courses/python-quickstart/
THX BRO
Any time
Thank you but i expected you to show how to get rid of those initial errors.
When i do this, it says invalid file or directory when i try to create the project
Thanks! +1
thanks, but I don't see anaconda prompt on Mac version
I haven't used anaconda on a mac before. You can try to run the 'conda' command in your terminal, if you don't get any errors, then you may be able to follow the directions in this video using the terminal instead of anaconda prompt.
please now show how to create a new project2 with all the 3rd party modules from the last project1enviroment, without re-down-loading everything from scratch? thanks great info...:)
do you need to repeat this process everytime you create a new python project?
It will probably depend on your default settings. PyCharm should remember the interpreter, so you shouldn't have to add it from the file location each time, but you may need to select it from the drop down. Additionally, you may need to deactivate the base environment to get packages to load properly.
Thx!
Video only helpful if you already know about stuff.
hey man its nor really visible !
It still does not work after deactivating..
Did you try restarting PyCharm after deactivating?
@@geospatialschool
I have the same problem even after restarting PyCharm
ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'geopandas'
